• Food altered genetically
    any food for human consumption must be labeled as such, if it has been genetically altered , hormonally , irritated , or treated with any method to enhance it's appearance or size. Consumers must be informed with said product having stated what manufacturers ,farmers, have done to achieve the results they desired before we purchase it and put it in our bodies. Origin of all proteins meat and fish also should be labeled as to where they were harvested and name of facility.

And so labels should apply to all GMO Products, just like irradiation warnings apply to all vegetables and fruits and nuts and grains etc etc England and other countries are making it illegal to work with GMO foods, and so should we.

    I'm tired of Churches and Religious Organizations making political statements and working their agendas in the political realm. There is supposed to be "Separation of Church and State" in the USA and yet the Mormon Church was very instrumental in defeating the Marriage Equality movement in California. There are many more examples of this violation by other religious bodies and it's time they lost their Tax Exemption!!

    I am a diabetic and have been for many years. I am very careful of what I eat and the size of the portions that I eat. I am very worried about the genetically engineered foods being put on the market with no identification marking to say it is GE food! I spend $15.00 per week at the local food pantry where the food sold is grown locally.

    When it came time for senior Samantha Culver to get an internship, she applied for a position with Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, which she described as “an awesome opportunity.” According to Culver, she notified St. Michael’s internship office as soon as she was awarded the position. She said internship director Joanne LaBrake Muehlberger, told her it was OK. Not long after returning to school from winter break, Culver learned she would not be eligible for credit for the internship.
