NO CUTS FOR SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITSI, like many have parent's who are elderly and would like to be able to take care of them. I have a family of my own to take care of and have no room to care for a aging parent alone. Also they have worked hard all their lives and look forward to retirement only to be given very little of an amount as it is to live off of. In my opinion i believe, in these final years they should not continue to have to have the same stresses as earlier in life. They deserve much more!1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Carmen Brown

A New Idea for Cutting SpendingIf the average American worker refused to work diligently at doing their job - there would be no job. Members of Congress make well over $100,000 per year, have several paid members on their staff, and other "perks" for doing their job. However, since many are not doing the job that the American electorate clearly defined for them in November, they should take a cut to help relieve the deficit.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Elena Looper

Stop using Republican definition of "spending cuts" to mean only non-corporate benefitsWe do need spending cuts. We also need a healthy social contract. Stop chipping away at only one end - the ability of working people to live healthy lives while continuing to pour our tax money into wealthy industries which do not need any help.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joanna Heller

Write off All Veterans owned homeBased upon my dealing with Chase and Fannie Mae on my home for the last seven (7) years, And the fact that the national News claim banks are loosing monies on toxic homes, why not just allow the Banks to write off these home as any business transaction as a "Loss"? All businesses in America has this opportunity and utilize ite in their daily operation. Why not under this circumstances?2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rlee Johnson

tax increaseTaxing those who already have to make survival choices or have lost their homes, health care, etc. is an abomination as well as more deterrent to stability as is not increasing taxes on those who got their wealth off the backs of the masses with no concern for the devastating impact on this nation. No one gets anything all by him/herself without contributory factors from others.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by cooki bilsborough

Saving USPostal Workers' JobsUnemployment is too high in US. I'm a former United Parcel Service Teamster who thinks this action, though drastic, is manageable for all involved....It's a decent compromise for these Quasi-Public workers.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Bailey
