  • Tax the profits from the sale of violent media.
I propose a tax on profits from violent media such as movies and video games. The revenue raised could then be directed towards funding a national Mental Health initiative.

  • Ask for MORE of what America needs for Everyone to Prosper!
What really matters IS NOT the deficit "right now," instead it is helping the MOST AMERICANS POSSIBLE to get jobs that pay a decent living wage to feed their families with! It is getting revenues to use to invest in our roads, bridges, schools, students, and rebuilding America from New Jersey to New Orleans to Oregon!

  • Overtime Tax Cut
My petition is about giving hourly paid workers an incentive for working extra hard. This will bring well needed tax relief for hard working Americans and will encourage great work ethics.

  • Saving Medicare, Medicaid, & Social Security.
Remove all caps on FICA taxes and make it a flat tax, equally taxed to all income levels and sources of income. The FICA tax has been one of the most regressive and unfair taxes in American History. It is taxed from the bottom up, with wealthy people paying a miniscule percentage of their income, while many working people pay a higher percentage of their income most of their working life.

  • Do Not Cut Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid
The President and Congress are under heavy pressure to weaken programs that protect ordinary Americans from sickness, hardship, and insecurity. This pressure comes from wealthy contributors to political campaigns, big business interests, and Tea Party fanatics in the Republican Party. Ordinary Americans must speak out now before elected leaders make decisions that will hurt us and our children for decades to come. If sacrifices are needed, they should fall on those with the greatest ability to pay, not on those who lack insider connections.

  • Don't Cut Entitlements We Paid For
Cuts considered for Social Security and Medicare. I'm retired from the Army and paid into these all my life. I'm currently on SS and Medicare and without them I probably wouldn't make it.

  • Restore Our Jobs
The hugh negative foreign trade deficit in goods has cause the loss of millions of jobs in the USA. My own sons have been affected by this situation, as well as some others I know. Reducing this deficit by half will eliminate our unemployment problem.

  • Lack of congressional action in Wash
While politicians posture and play chicken with our economy all American citizens are affected because of the uncertainty that individuals and businesses face about policy direction.
