    The entire nation is about to experience an economic disaster that is completely avoidable. Congress needs to finally hold itself accountable and vote on President Obama's economic plan. The people have already voted, and now it is the duty of our elected representatives to step up and show us where they stand. We can take it from there.

  • Tax salon services
    Currently all salon services in the state of Washington are tax free. No sales tax, no luxury tax. Most of these services including haircare, nails, facials, massages etc. are services the well off indulge in. The state has continually used the "sin" tax to raise money by taxing beer and cigarettes (now weed too)...but, has never approched taxing the rich for their pampering in the salon. It would raise desperately needed money for the state and not effect the lower class.

    With America mere days away from the financial crisis termed the "fiscal cliff" which would cause the widespread financial burdens for all Americans and particular hardship for many of the most vulnerable including loss of long-term unemployment pay, increased payroll taxes, increased income taxes, and the jeopardizing once again of the US credit rating, it appears appropriate for Americans to shift the consequences for that obstructionism to those responsible: the Federal Legislators, including John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and all House and Senate legislators of both parties.

  • Stop Forclosures and American Servicing Company doing people wrong. Enough is enough
    American Servicing Company/AKA Wells Fargo doing people wrong and charging fees and no explanation and do not return phone calls nor do they give straight answers. Send threatening letters from their Attorney threatening to foreclose but yet they have no reason or explanations on their outragious fees they charge and where payments are applied. Just Google American Servicing Company and you will see for yourself stories from people struggling.

    If the capability is there, why can't you work from home...I have been working for a company for 15 years, drive 40mls one way but can work from home...when I started we were not this far out. Will come into the office when needed.

    I am sick of the White House, Congress, Multi-Nationals and Banks, gaming the system. Obama wants to see millionaires and billionaires pay there fair share but focuses on $250K or more???   • NO CUTS FOR SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS
    I, like many have parent's who are elderly and would like to be able to take care of them. I have a family of my own to take care of and have no room to care for a aging parent alone. Also they have worked hard all their lives and look forward to retirement only to be given very little of an amount as it is to live off of. In my opinion i believe, in these final years they should not continue to have to have the same stresses as earlier in life. They deserve much more!

  • A New Idea for Cutting Spending
    If the average American worker refused to work diligently at doing their job - there would be no job. Members of Congress make well over $100,000 per year, have several paid members on their staff, and other "perks" for doing their job. However, since many are not doing the job that the American electorate clearly defined for them in November, they should take a cut to help relieve the deficit.
