• Appoint Paul Ryan Ambassador to Mars
Mars has not debt, no spending, no welfare, no unions, no health care. Paul Ryan would be much better for Mars than for Earth.

  • Save the U. S. Postal Service
First class mail rate increases on a service whose usage is declining make no sense. Increasing the revenue gained from bulk mail delivery will help the Postal Service remain solvent (and keep its retirement obligations to its employees).

  • I support Philly's bravest!
Do you support our working class heroes? Do you believe that union members that forfeit their right to strike in exchange for binding arbitration should have those lawfully awarded results honored by their employer?

  • Maximum Wage of $1 Million Dollars
If we have a law that mandates a minimum wage that is not even livable, then we should at least have a maximum wage to limit the greed and corruption that occurs in our society due to all our leaders being owned by the corporations. Enough is enough already. CEO's, hedge fund managers, investment bankers, etc... do not need millions or even billions of dollars at the expense of others.

  • Sheriff of Nottingham
Democratic officials and candidates routinely refer to Republican tax plans as "reverse-Robin Hood" plans. Intellectually I understand what that means, but what is the imagery? Robin Hood walking backwards? Robin Hood on standing on his head? I've really no idea. Shouldn't the words they use evoke a visceral response in their audience?

  • NATIONAL DEBT-Confront the GOP Lies:
A definite issue that will be brought up in the upcoming presidential and vice-presidential debates will be the origin of our national debt. Republican candidates will falsely claim that the Democratic administrations are to blame. It is therefore vital that President Obama tell the real facts and educate all voters.

  • Deny tax exempt status to most non-profits and all churches
Religious organizations are now big business and are attempting to force their views upon the nation with political pressure. These organizations, along with other non-profits like the chamber of commerce, would have the right to freedom of speech just like I do if they are a citizen. Take away their tax exempt status and make citizens out of them.

  • Fair Taxation for Active Military Members
Concerning the recent hoopla over tax breaks for U.S. Olympic medal winners,I don't agree with this logic and don't think it's fair... Why would I have this logic? I think we should give tax breaks with a less tax rate (say like 15% or less for military families)...if it's good for the very rich to pay very little in taxes(15%),why not soldiers and sailors actively serving and fighting for our country? Many in the military are actually having a hard time making ends meet,as well as coming home traumatized and alienated due to money issues. Why not give the true heroes, who are not "commercialized"(except by war profiteers) a tax break? Even the Military Industrial Complex uses the military personnel for "profit"...It's time our military get back their fair share of the profits through a change at lowering the tax rates for these defenders of our feedoms. What do you think?

  • The Pledge
The pledge was started in 1986 by Grover Norquist and continues to this day. Members of Congress who have signed this pledge have promised never ever to raise taxes under any circumstances. My beloved Country, the USA has been in a financial crisis for years, and Congress who holds the power of money can help solve the problem, but refuses to do so because those that have a signed commitment to this group can`t. My Senator,Senator Lindsey Graham has broken this pledge and I call on others to ask their Members of Congress to do the same,so they can get something done.

  • It is time to tax all the religious institutions!
This petition is about keeping religion and state separate. The religious intitutions have become to greedy and they have lost empathy. They were suppose to help their communities and the people with the money they make, and stay away from politics. They are not doing that anymore, all they are doing is spending big amounts of money for their own use and in politics to gain extra benefits with the government for their own agenda. Since they have all that extra money they can afford to pay taxes.
