• Mitt Romney: Show Us Your Tax Records
With Democrats and Republicans in Congress voting on ending or extending what are referred to as the Bush Tax Cuts for very rich individuals, I think it's fair to ask Presidential candidate Mitt Romney to show us his tax records for the past ten years.

  • Follow your Father's example Mitt: Release your Taxes!
The tradition used to be that candidates gave out general information on their income and financial assets via a statement. That all changed in 1967 when George Romney released his actual tax returns for the previous 12 years. “One year could be a fluke, perhaps done for show,” the elder Romney said then. His son, the presumptive Republican nominee in 2012, prefers to show almost nothing. Mitt Romney has only released his tax returns for 2010 and an estimate for 2011. That’s not good enough.

  • Block the Senate Passage of Pathway to Job Creation through a Simpler, Fairer Tax Code Act of 2012
This bill puts in place the same tenets that Romney espouses which would cut taxes for the rich, increase taxes to the poor. It also cuts out all the credits that lower-income individuals and small businesses enjoy. THIS SHOULD NOT PASS! http://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/112-2012/h552 http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/publications/url.cfm?ID=1001628 http://taxfoundation.org/article/taxing-more-taking-less-how-broadening-federal-tax-base-can-reduce-income-tax-rates

  • Nationalize The Federal Reserve
We, the people, must be the custodians of our own monetary system. Everyone is affected by the policies of our banking system, and it only makes sense that it must not be under the control of private interests. The policy makers of the federal reserve need to be elected officials that are held accountable by the public.

  • Romney's Taxes
If Mitt Romney wants to be president, I want to know how much money he's paid in taxes over the past 10 years. I am suspicious that he has not paid anything during some of those years. If true, that would be an outrage and a vital piece of information that the voting public should know.

  • CREATE JOBS NOW!
Enough is enough—we can’t wait any longer. Three years after Wall Street wrecked our economy, 25 million people are still unable to find full-time work and the scandalous gap between the 1% and the 99% continues to grow. Congress promised to bring jobs, but where are they?

  • Tell Congress To Fix our Credit Reports!
The average American is limited as a result of 2 areas of credit reporting that is in essence immoral, unethical, and limits the average American from attaining the American dream! I personally have been affected by 2 areas on my credit report. 1) medical bills, 2) Student loans. While I have committed my professional life to making a difference in education, I have had to lean on student loans in order to become an educator. Congress/The President, could stimulate the economy immediately if they were to find it unlawful to use against a consumer those thing necessary in order to 1) make a living, 2) seek health care. There is no evidence that a person with high student loans, or medical bills will not make their house payment! In the contrary, it increases their investment in their community which establishes long term investment. It stimulates the economy!

  • SSI In-Lieu Levy
Out sourcing jobs off shore not only robs American workers of gainful employment, it weakens Social Security funding. Tell the president and congress that American companies sending jobs abroad should be required to make an in-lieu payment to SSI for the amount the company and worker would have paid into SSI.
