  • Demand that CNN apologize.
The handling of Libyan Ambassador Chris Steven's journal was wrong and prioritized ratings over the safety of Americans. Any evidence, particularly from a potential Terrorist attack site, and as sensitive as an official's journal should have been handed over to the American government immediately. Time is of the essence in any criminal investigation and in this case withholding evidence jeopardized American lives and gave the perpetrators valuable time.

  • Prosecute Conflicts of Interest Violations
Two members of North Dakota's Public Service Commission have taken campaign contributions from the oil and gas industry that they are supposed to be monitoring on behalf of the citizens of North Dakota, in direct violation of North Dakota law, yet the Attorney General refuses to prosecute, and the taxpayers are funding out of state law firms who have been retained by the PSC to defend lawsuits against these two individuals for those violations. The Governor has also failed to act, and there appears to be no one at the highest levels of state government who is willing to enforce the law.

  • "Aggression" or Bullying
I've experienced too many bullys in my life, and we certainly don't need one as a president. What we need is powerful diplomacy--not more "aggression."

  • END THE AFGHANISTAN WAR NOW
END THE AFGHANISTAN WAR NOW. Protect our brave men and women from senseless death and wounds while proudly serving our country. There is no feel good patriotic win for the Afghanistan war. US fatalities: 2125. Coalition fatalities: 3190 as of 2012. Wounded data based on monthy reports from the Department of Defence: 10,369 as of February 2012 - iCasualties.org “This is the longest war in the history of the United States of America. The Afghani government is mostly corrupt. War in Afghanistan has tested the resolve, capabilities, and strength of the allied military forces. Moreover, our efforts at nation building have largely failed.” Congressman Jason Chaffetz, UT “After nearly 10 years of fighting, the progress in Afghanistan has been diminutive and alienated the peoples of Afghanistan. This failed strategy is not worth one more drop of American blood. I believe that if we are going to leave, we should leave; otherwise we are doing a great disservice to those soldiers who continue to fight and American families at home who will continue to suffer the loss of their loved ones. Furthermore, The current centralized government system and the regime of Hamid Karzai is hopelessly corrupt and not representative of the Afghan peoples.” Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, CA February 2012, I sent a letter to the President, signed by 87 bipartisan Members of Congress to accelerate the withdrawl of our troops from Afghanistan by the end of next year. "I believe it’s time to end this war and bring our brave servicemembers home." Congresswoman Lois Capps, CA "I can't find a whole lot right about what's happening in Afghanistan," Congressman Bill Young, FL “Our soldiers and their families shouldn't be the only ones sacrificing for these efforts, and that's a large part of why I will continue to push for the immediate return of our troops.” Congressman Chris Murphy, CT “Through fiscal year 2012, the United States has spent more than $549.5 billion, and the war effort will cost another $88 billion in fiscal year 2012.” A better solution is available — "to get our troops the hell out of there. The real solution, is staring us in the face." Congressman James P Moran, VA “At a time when we have so many of our own infrastructure needs and budgetary challenges here at home, we cannot afford to be in the business of nation-building in places like Afghanistan. “ Congressman John Carney, DE American soldiers are dying in Afghanistan on average 31 a month or one per day. Our brave men and women are not disposable commodities. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Help us get them all home – Alive would be best – the sooner the better! SIGN THIS PETITION AND CONTACT YOUR LOCAL CONGRESSMEN AND WOMEN!

  • BRING OUR TROOPS HOME AND HAVE ALL FOREIGN TROOPS IN THE U.S. OUT BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR.
There is no reason at all to be fighting in Afghanistan or elsewhere for that matter, and it is time to bring all our troops home - NOW. It will not happen without the wholehearted support off the people and the threat of impeachment. Also there are thousands of Foreign troops in the U.S. ready carry orders like gun confiscation, expressing views not in line with present mandates of the government. These troops have no qualms shooting us expressing ioinions.

  • Michelle: Tell Barack to Call Off the Drones
Drones are operated by people sitting in front of a computer, like someone playing a video game. Their targets are supposed to be military, but many civilians have been killed. The people operating the drones have no picture of the unnecessary pain and suffering they are causing. Michelle Obama has her husband's ear in a way that no one else does. I know she cares about the children and their families that are being killed and made homeless. Let's ask her to tell Barack that he must call off the drones.

  • Tell Mike Huckabee it's time to stop spreading Islamophobia
Mike Huckabee recently put up a song on his website, set to Billy Joel's "We didn't start the fire," which refers to the Middle East as, "Nutjobs stuck in the 13th century," and the land as, "Not fit for man nor beast." The song is insulting and should be taken down.
