International Criminal Court Complaint Against Trump, Et AlCOMPLAINT TO THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT I, (YOUR NAME), a citizen of the United States of America, wish to submit a complaint to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for investigation of “crimes against humanity” against the following United States of America (USA) government officials, knowing that the USA is not a state party to the Rome Statute of the ICC. I file this complaint under the principle of “natural law” inherent in human behavior and human reasoning that governs all human conduct. DEFENDANTS: 1. DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America. 2. JEFFERSON BEAUREGARD SESSIONS, Attorney General of the United States of America 3. KIRSTJEN NIELSEN, Secretary of Homeland Security of the United States of America 4. ALEX M. AZAAR II, Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States of America I accuse the above named defendants with committing “crimes against humanity” in the execution of the “Zero Tolerance Policy” (ZTP) of 2018 separating migrant children from their parents after the latter cross the U.S.-Mexico border seeking asylum from organized criminal violence in their home countries. The families come mostly from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. I. The ZTP was adopted for the sole purpose to deter frightened mothers from bringing their children on the perilous journey to the U.S. border in search of safe harbor. II. The inhumane acts committed by the accused are against the peace and dignity of the United Sates of America and contrary to the safety and security of victims fleeing life-threatening situations at home. i. On or about May 2018, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions announced a “zero-tolerance” policy for illegal entry into the U.S. and directed U.S. attorneys offices in southwest states along the US-Mexico border to prosecute all cases flagged for illegal entry, “to the extent practicable.” ii. On or about June 15, 2018, Homeland Security officials confirmed that 1,995 children were separated from 1,940 adults at the U.S.-Mexico border from April 19 through May 31. HHS officials testified that they were unable to determine what happened with many children. iii. The Secretary of Health and Human Services has overseen the haphazard separation of children from their parents and poorly documented placement in over 100 facilities in 14 or more states around the country. iv. In June 2018, Donald J. Trump made the following inflammatory and false assertion about the families: 1. “Criminals are using children like a "Trojan horse" to get into America and that “people coming in were bringing "death and destruction". v. The head of the American Academy of Pediatrics called the policy "child abuse" and against "everything we stand for as pediatricians". vi. Pediatric and child trauma experts are sounding the alarm that separating migrant children from their parents at the US border can cause serious physical and psychological damage. Therefore, I ask that the ICC undertake an investigation into “crimes against humanity” and that the defendants respond to answer the charges I have made. I verify that the facts set forth in this complaint are true and correct to the best of my knowledge or information and belief. No Regrets in November, Secure our Elections NowOn November 7, 2018, we don’t want to be wringing our hands thinking the election results were fishy, but there’s no way to recount or check if the results were right. In order to have secure elections we need: - Paper: Paper ballot and scanner voting systems - Audits: A check to ensure the vote totals reported by scanners actually match the paper ballots that voters cast - Secure Voter Rolls: Secure voter registration databases with paper back ups We know what we need to do, but in far too many states, election officials at the state and local level need funding and political will to make it happen. Tell your election officials it’s time to secure the vote.95 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Aquene Freechild

A Petition for Congress to Censure Donald J. TrumpThe Congress of the United States should censure Donald J. Trump for his rhetoric employed against immigrants. Employing the word "infest" is similar to the rhetoric used by fascists and other authoritarians. It has no place in a Democracy.43 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Eric W. Lewis

Mayor Endicott: Redmond City Council Needs a Cultural Advisory & Diversity CouncilOur City Council vision states, "The City of Redmond will be a model for Northwest communities by being innovative in the creation of a high quality of life, ample family wage jobs and a safe environment in which to raise and educate families." In October of 2017, Redmond constituents emailed and met with City Councilors to share community experiences with racism and racial microaggression in Redmond. We attended Council meetings and asked Council to show commitment by joining a non-partisan, non-profit organization that has road-mapped how to successfully engage immigrants and refugees INTO the heart of a community. The Council said no, primarily because of 1) an up to $200/year membership fee and 2) fear of possible political ramifications. Further, in a recorded Council workshop that took place October 17, 2017, Council members including our Mayor, made dismissive commentary in consideration of this request, such as, "We do feel welcoming, but we don't need to belong to an organization to prove it." "I don't see the need for it." and "Are we going to do one for pets next, because I want all pets to feel welcome, too." They seemed distracted by language and lingo, as opposed to the heartfelt testimony of citizens who'd done their best to clarify their personal experiences and concerns. (Addendum: Instead of committing to actionable items to further engage diverse community members into city process, they passed a Proclamation of Redmond as "a community where all people feel welcome." This proclamation is visible on Page 3, Exhibit 5 at: https://docs.google.com/gview?url=https%3A%2F%2Fredmond-or.granicus.com%2FDocumentViewer.php%3Ffile%3Dredmond-or_f32f65ee-704b-4e41-9bcc-7b814287395f.pdf%26view%3D1&embedded=true) Community members continue to voice grave concerns about Redmond's spirit of equity. We do not desire dismissal and jokes; we desire actions of commitment to inclusion and equity for Redmond, Oregon residents who are vulnerable to discrimination every day. An advisory committee or board would ensure these concerns are not swept aside without dedicated response and actions to strengthen the spirit of equity in Redmond, Oregon.69 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tanya Beard

$10,000 for a Toilet Seat Cover? Tell Congress to Stop Corrupt Defense ContractsRemember the 1982 $600 Air Force toilet seat? Thanks to Will Roper, USAF Assistant Secretary for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, we now have an on-the-record update--the current price is $10,000 and that's just for the cover. Americans were outraged in 1982 when they learned that the Pentagon was paying $600 for a toilet seat (both parts) and the Pentagon and Congress swore up and down they would get things under control. Well now it’s 30 years later and this scandal has gotten 10 times worse. But the toilet is just the tip of the iceberg. The reality is that the Pentagon is so cozy with defense contractors that this kind of corruption runs rampant. And they’re getting fat with taxpayer money. The first step is to let Congress know that we’re wise to them and that we’re not going to take it anymore. And the way to begin is to sign this petition and pass it on.
