The privately owned Federal Reserve sets the monetary policy for the entire U.S.A. There is absolutely no public or governmental oversight of it. It is entirely owned and controlled by the too-big-to-fail banks. This is a petition to transfer all powers & functions of the Federal Reserve to the U.S. Dept. of Treasury.

Congress is not better than we are. We hired them to work for us; however, the republicans are not doing their job for the people! They had the nerve to sign an agreement with Grove Norquist which is proof they are not working for the people! As such, they should receive the same Social Security and health care benefits any other retiring person or disabled person receives!

Our governmental system is broken. Our congressional representatives have no motivation to be productive and do the right things to improve our country. I believe they have become career-politicians stuck in a Good Ol' Boy system that is bringing the entire country to a standstill. The congressmen have lost sight of their obligations to the The People. We need a system that is not stale and makes this do-nothing approach unacceptable. We need a system that promotes crossing party lines. WE NEED A SYSTEM WITH REPRESENTATIVES THAT ACTUALLY WANT, AND ARE EAGER, TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. The boat needs to be rocked! I DON'T want a system with representatives focused on reelection, partisan positioning, and filling their pockets with lobbyist and corporate contributions. I can't stand idly by watching congressmen have loyalty to their pocketbook over their constituents' well-being. I support a 6-10 year term limit enacted on Congress to promote constituency loyalty and representation, ethical and moral behavior, and productive and bipartisan approaches.

Lawmakers in Congress and the Senate need term limits. There is too much corruption in Washington and our representatives should not be trying to figure out how to maintain their power. Their energy should be put into working on legislation that is good for their constituents.

Elected officials should be required to accept the same cuts in income the public are subjected to. If they are required to endure the same austerity we do it might get them to do some work.

US Representatives and Senators should have term limits so that citizens get the best possible representation. They should serve no longer than the President serves. Two 4-year terms. We need to clean house more often.

Money in politics getting the money out of politics limiting campaign contributions

The corrupting influence of money in our political system has resulted in the ineffectiveness of our elected officials to address the many serious problems our nation faces because they are beholden to big donors, be they corporations or other lobbyists. We need to make elections and speech FREE, not bought by the highest contributor.

Demand Eqaulity in our Government. We, the people need to be respresented at all levels of the government, not just the Corporations and the Banks. It is time we let our voices be known.

Are you sick and tired of the self-serving politicians in Washington? It is time for American citizens to stand up for the voters and against entrenched and corrupt politicians. To permanently change Washington, we must change the process that allows career politicians to gain personal power instead of making the hard decisions. We need CITIZEN LEGISLATORS, new leaders continually coming to Congress to ensure every taxpayer dollar is spent wisely, not wasted on Washington special interests. We must end the era of permanent politicians that has led us to a $15 trillion debt and a pending fiscal crisis” 74 percent of Democrats polled favored term limits with 84 percent of Republicans indicating support. It is a Myth that professional legislators are needed to deal with the complexity of government today; proven wrong by the $15 trillion national debt hole that has been created by the very professional politicians who make this argument. The actions of our elected Congress over the past several years have been embarrassing. It is obvious they will not change and continually give excuses for not getting the job done. We can no longer afford career politicians who never make the tough decisions, but defer them to commissions and other non elected bodies.

We the concerned citizens of Pennsylvania demand the immediate impeachment and/or resignation of Tom Corbett. The record of his administration says it all, everything from his involvement in the PennState molestation scandal to taking money from gas companies but far too many other grievances to list in this short petition. By signing this petition you agree Tom Corbett should resign and/or be impeached for the better good of Pennsylvania.

Supreme Court justices currently are not subject to the same canons of ethics to which other federal judges must comply. Justices Scalia and Thomas attended and spoke at a Koch Brothers event with Citizens' United on their docket. The two were speakers and guests of honor at a dinner of the Federalist Society on the same day that they considered reviewing the Health Care Reform Act. We're calling on John G. Roberts, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, to adopt the same canons of ethics to which the other Federal judges must adhere. We further ask that Justices Scalia and Thomas recuse themselves from the review of the Health Care reform act after they have demonstrated through their participation in the Federalist Society dinner a disregard for impartiality in this matter.
