People try to sell us things all day and night on television. Those same people HAVE to tell the truth about their product. They can't (by law) say that it does something that it doesn't do. What I want is for the Truth in Advertising Act to apply to political adds. If you are like me you are tired of propaganda in our electoral process. You are tired of adds about bills that are total fabrications with no basis in fact. And I am tired of polititions lying and NEVER being called on it.

We do not have an elite that is above the law. American law should apply equally to all of it's citizens!!! For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform.... in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical.

Campaign finance reform would ensure that money will not "buy" an election. All candidates would operate from an equal playing field, with no one "owing" favors to any special interest group or corporation.

every year at tax time we should be able to pay a grow tax fee per house hold that would permit us to grow our own marijiana so the federal goverment would have let say we pay 250.00 out of our taxes every year to grow our own. Then the money people use to buy it will now be put back the money into the economy. selling is still illigal.
