    I go to oakland county to donate plasma, from Brighton, its a far drive. Those who live in Howell, its a far drive to East Lansing which is the next closes plasma center.

  • Seat belts On School buses
    I believe that every school bus should have a seat belt for each student. Seat belts are required on all vehicles, including airplanes, for the safety of its passengers. I know that the seats on the school buses are raised and made with extra padding for protection, but what will stop kids from being thrown around the bus or thrown out of a window if the school bus rolls over in an accident?

    My name is Anita Rentz and I live in Marietta, GA. I am a citizen and I am very sick. Because I have pre-existing chronic condition, insurance is charging me too much. I am trying to get medicaid and I was told by the office that someone will call today and no-one called. I called Washington and I was on hold for hours. This is not possible for me because of my health), I left voice message for medicaid and no one returned the call. I left message for the case workers and they never replied.

    Add a 1% sales tax to tobacco & alcohol products. Earmark the revene to fund addiction treatment at facilities such as The Jefferson Alcohol & Drug Abuse Center (JADAC). The trend lately has been to fund facilities such as The Healing Place because its cheaper to do so, but they cannot provide a safe medically supervised detoxification, among other things. I work at JADAC & it saddens me to see this resource continually underfunded. The population we serve is poorly represented in the state legislature.

    Dental Health is crucial to whole body health. It is criminal that most dentists charge up to four thousand dollars for a few fillings and give marginal attention to patients. A dentist makes more per hour than any other health practitioner and has the lowest overhead expense.
