The American People WANT OBAMACARESThe United States is the only industrialized country in which approximately half the population is not insured and does not have access to medical services. It is a sad commentary for the greatest nation on the planet. It time to move forward, not standstill.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rhonda D. Schinke

My hospital is deceptive and unfair in debt collectionAfter my mom was transported to Grace Hospital and later to another hospital, I received a receipt showing Grace Hospital had billed over 9-thousand and 5-hundred dollars, and collected more than $9200.00 dollars for a little more than two hours my mom was hospitialized. Then instead of "mailing" an 'ordinary' bill to collect $320.31 in addition to the more than 9-thousand, 2-hundred dollars already collected, Grace Hospital 'FILED' a claim against my mom's estate only a few days after it was opened ! An associate counsel attorney at Grace Hospital continues to tell every agency I have reported this to that what Grace Hospital DID was it's policy ! I am in disbelief that ANY business especially a "Non-Profit" community built hospital would do such a disrespectful thing to a family member. This NEEDS to STOP !! Grace Hospital has the same ability as does any other business to collect a debt, they should not ever force a surviving family member to stop grieving the loss of a mom or dad or ANY family member. If you have been treated in a disrespectful way by Grace Hospital for any reason, I ask that you sign this petition. This is the only way a change can take place in how the public is treated by it's community hospital.26 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Richard Garrison

Dawn Frazier/Movement Toward Univeral Healthcare"Obama Care" was a step in the right direction. But I believe it would have been recieved a lot better if the public already had an educated notion about the human costs of limited healthcare.I can name individuals off the top of my head that have died,in one way or another, because of their lack of insurance,so why not publicize these cases and bring a more human face to this unfair system.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dawn Frazier/Movement Toward Univeral Healthcare

Governor Scott, it is time for Florida to expand Medicaid coverage and create a healthcare exchange. As a small business owner that provides services to people with disabilities who receive Medicaid benefits and as a father and husband who purchases private health insurance for my family, I see firsthand the potential benefits to Floridians if the governor and state legislature enact both the Medicaid expansion and healthcare exchange tenants of the Affordable Care Act. Expanding Medicaid will allow current recipients to work more hours without the worry of loosing the healthcare coverage that they rely on. It will also cover more Floridians who are working but cannot afford to purchase private insurance. Creating a statewide exchange could maximize competition and choice for Florida consumers which could result in lower premiums and more affordable coverage for Floridians like myself who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid but still find it difficult to afford private health insurance.17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Christopher Hyche

Governor Scott: Allow Freedom of Choice in Healthcare. As of January 1, 2013, Acupuncture has been removed as a covered service within the scopes of PIP (Personal Injury Protection) benefits. Acupuncture is an ancient for of medicine, proven to be very effective in treating pain and many illnesses and diseases. Governor Scott made sure this coverage was removed from PIP. The Affordable Healthcare Act will be coming into place in Florida next year. Each state will chose the level of coverage, and what will be covered. Based on Governor's Scott track record, we may be looking at insurance companies doing business in Florida to remove the coverage for Acupuncture and other wellness and preventive services that are now covered. Please! let's make sure we have a choice in the medicine we want by making sure Governor Scott keeps acupuncture as part of main stream medicine and coverage.133 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Monica Dabney

Medicare Buy-in for AllA Medicare buy-in would give Americans immediate access to affordable, quality health care. Many states are refusing to participate in the Medicaid expansion and did not or will not create health exchanges. Given that many Americans will need taxpayer subsidies to buy health insurance coverage as required by the ACA mandate, a Medicare buy-in would send taxpayer subsidies back to the federal treasury instead of further enriching for-profit health insurance companies who are the root cause of our escalating health care costs and diminishing health care quality.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Christine Adams

Health Care Availability For AllThe Affordable Care Act is now the law, and all states should be held responsible for implementing it. Some states refuse to implement it even though the Supreme Court has ruled that it is the Law. This petition is to call on all states to obey the law and implement The Affordable Care Act for their citizens, and if the legislators in these states refuse, they should surrender their government health care entirely.105 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Victoria Wekamp

Planned Parenthood fundingThe State of Ohio is trying to take away funds for Planned Parenthood. It is a vital program for the people of Ohio. It helps low-income men and women from age 10 up. It's a vital resource for birth control to those who otherwise couldn't afford it. All types of birth control: • Emergency contraception and follow-up • Pregnancy testing and counseling* • Male and female sterilization • STD counseling and testing* • HIV counseling and testing* So why take this program away when it helps so many?11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Maria Schrader

Open Medicare insurance to everybodyIncrease Medicare solvency by offering Medicare coverage to people of all ages at one reasonable fixed price. NOT required participation, but a choice to participate which will remove fear of a so-called Socialist program as well as help spread costs of current expenses over a larger risk pool.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Steven Hambacher

Save Our Doctor Ohana vs Hawaii Health Systems CorpWe are senior citizens, family caregivers and case management agencies fighting Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (HHSC) to get them to reverse their decision and renew Dr. K. Albert Yazawa’s contract. There are virtually no doctors willing to accept new patients, let alone patients insured with Medicare or Medicaid, and yet, this State funded organization wants to eliminate their Board Certified Family Physician who specializes in Geriatric Services, which will negatively impact over 300 frail senior citizens. We must stop them!274 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Crystal van Beelen
