Flouride, the chemical, that is added to our water supply is extremely toxic. (read your toothpaste tube lately?) It not only causes tooth decay, and bone marrow problems, especially in children, but also adversely affects the Central Nervous System. If injested in sufficient amounts (which isn't much) it will lower the IQ of a child's brain. We need to protect our children, not poison them - they are our future.

Obamacare as you all refer to it. I am 51 years old, my husband has a pre existing condition which has no known cure. I have two children a 19 year old a sophomore in college and an 18 year old a senior in high school. I want to option to keep my children on our insurance until they turn 26. Their focus at this time of their lives needs to be about an education not health care expenses.

As a Vietnam Combat Veterans who must be classified as one of the "returning wounded" from that generation and VA Service Rep for over 30 years, that was medically retired from VA Employment, I was at a meeting on July 30, 2012 with Congressman John Lewis, where issues about the Atlanta VA were discussed and the Congressman promised to start hearings on these complaints. This petition is to get the Congressman to keep his promise to start these hearings, and thereafter introduce a Bill to Overhaul the VA. The courts, veterans' complaints and the media have provided evidence of this need for years. The time for action is now.

Lithium Ion batteries are subject to thermal runaway which can cause them to blow up or vent toxic gasses. The explosion is not the only threat. The electrolyte in these batteries is LiPF6 (lithium Hexafluoraphoshate). These batteries have no toxicity warning on them. Thermal runaway of LiPF6 releases it's fluoride ions into the air where it reacts and bonds with Hydrogen creating Hydrogen Fluoride (HF). Hazard Summary : Toxic by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed. Extremely corrosive and destructive to tissue. Specialized medical treatment is required for all exposures. May be fatal if inhaled, absorbed through skin, or swallowed. The EPA labels fluoride as more toxic than lead and slightly less toxic than Arsenic. These manufacturers keep this information suppressed in order to maintain profit and because the FCC doesn't require them to label the threat. I don't know about anyone else, but I like to know what threats lurk in my home. So let's tell the FCC that we have the right to know what is being sold to us and label it.

20% of GDP s dedicated to healthcare spending and 77 million baby boomers are just beginning to retire. Many of these folks savings will be wiped out with one emergency room visit. Which means this 2 trillion dolar and growing government expense is not going away anytime soon.

Harvard study found fluoride contributes to rare bone cancer in boys. 97% of Europe has rejected fluoridated water due to known health risks, and it was classified as compulsory medication [unlawful] and therefore violated fundamental humane rights.In 2010 Time mag.listed fluoride as one of the top ten household toxins and described it as both "neurotoxic and potentially tumorigenic if swallowed". Read the back of your toothpaste tube....It says "call poison control if swallowed"...How much do your children swallow when they brush? We are being systematically poisoned. This must end. Educate yourselves about fluoride!!!!!

My husband and I were caring for my mother and his father. When they each needed admission to a nursing facility we would have lost our home and I would have had to quit my job to tend to them if it hadn't been for Medicaid. Both of them had worked all their lives but didn't have the resources to cover such an expense.

I'm a member of United Auto Workers Local 2350. I work for state employees in California. Every day I fight to maintain or improve state employees' benefits, but my own healthcare has been secretly and illegally cut. Two months ago Management circumvented our union and illegally imposed vicious cuts that as of Jan. 1, 2013, will drastically cut healthcare benefits for current employees and future retirees, and eliminate retiree healthcare for all new hires. The healthcare cuts unfairly impact lower income workers and those with families. We need you to stand with working class families and tell the California State Employees Association (CSEA) and its affiliates - the Association of California State Supervisors (ACSS), California State Retirees (CSR), and California State University Employees Union (CSUEU) - to retract their illegally imposed healthcare attacks and return to the bargaining table!
