• Support the Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Illinois Program
Due to budget cuts that affect State Parks facilities and programming, Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) is at risk of losing funding. BOW is an outdoor education program that invites Illinois women from all walks of life to gather together and learn skills that she needs to enjoy the great outdoors in a safe and responsible manner. BOW provides a supportive environment that allows women to gain confidence to perfect a variety of physical and mental skills. Thanks to a generous scholarship program, BOW remains accessible to women of all economic backgrounds, promoting participation from women who would otherwise be unable to attend for economic reasons. More information about the BOW program can be found on their website http://www.dnr.state.il.us/lands/landmgt/bow/

  • Stop changing the time...
I am tired of the time change. I see no valuable reason for it, ot at least not enough valuable reasons to continue the madness. Almost everyone I speak to feels the same, and we all wonder why it continues. Many countries have stopped changing and I think it would help all of us if the USA stopped as well. We are in an age where this is not important anymore, and it cause much more grief than it solves. Please work to stop this craziness.

  • Alabama Government: Stop Partisan Madness
As a new legislative session begins in Montgomery, Alabama, legislators will consider issues that cannot be addressed satisfactorily in our current climate of partisan madness. You and I bear the lion's share of blame, because we feed the partisan beast that our legislators serve. Let's end our own bitterness and call for a new session without partisan rancor down in Montgomery, so that maybe together we can solve some of these pressing issues.

  • Put an end to YouTube in deleting tributes to Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold
The Columbine High School Massacre is a controversial topic, especially with the two perpretrators who committed it. However, when you read more into it, there is a possibility that you'll sympathize with the criminals, especially since they were just teenagers. However, YouTube does not let you express that sympathy.

  • Found Animal Report Law
Keeping pets out of shelters nationwide, and maybe even world-wide, and preventing millions of lost pets from becoming eternally lost can be as simple as having cooperation. Maybe most of the "strays" will go back to their home no one knew they had instead of being re-"adopted" or euthanized. And I have an idea.
