Due to budget cuts that affect State Parks facilities and programming, Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) is at risk of losing funding. BOW is an outdoor education program that invites Illinois women from all walks of life to gather together and learn skills that she needs to enjoy the great outdoors in a safe and responsible manner. BOW provides a supportive environment that allows women to gain confidence to perfect a variety of physical and mental skills. Thanks to a generous scholarship program, BOW remains accessible to women of all economic backgrounds, promoting participation from women who would otherwise be unable to attend for economic reasons. We have contacted the owners and have been informed that do to unforeseen circumstance Newark is not one of their destinations. We ask that you sign if you love the look in your child eyes as she watches a Circus that mirrors them. Our children deserve premiere entertaining and we ask Universoul Circus and the City of Newark to rethink this decision.

I am tired of the time change. I see no valuable reason for it, ot at least not enough valuable reasons to continue the madness. Almost everyone I speak to feels the same, and we all wonder why it continues. Many countries have stopped changing and I think it would help all of us if the USA stopped as well. We are in an age where this is not important anymore, and it cause much more grief than it solves. Please work to stop this craziness.

As a new legislative session begins in Montgomery, Alabama, legislators will consider issues that cannot be addressed satisfactorily in our current climate of partisan madness. You and I bear the lion's share of blame, because we feed the partisan beast that our legislators serve. Let's end our own bitterness and call for a new session without partisan rancor down in Montgomery, so that maybe together we can solve some of these pressing issues.

We believe Pete Rose should be reinstated to baseball and admitted to Baseball's Hall of Fame, by action of the Commissioner of Major League Baseball under his power to act in the best interests of the sport. Pete Rose has served a penalty of over 20 years and he can serve as one of the sport's greatest ambassadors because of his undeniable love of the game and his record setting accomplishments on the field. After all, he was named named to the "All Century Team" for the 20th century as one of the greatest players ever.
