Fractionalization in the Jewish Community has never been good for Jewish people or the state of Israel. Friendly fire from with the Jewish community should not be tolerated as a substitute for difficult discussions and finding common ground. Leadership of organizations allegedly representing us need to be continually reminded we are a distinct, but very diverse multicultural minority and need to work together on important issues. Excluding Jewish voices or threatening to leave any group trying to represent a "big tent" group of people and positions is not easy, but there needs to be inclusion and the listening to the other even when there are difficult disagreements.

Does a truly Intelligent species overpopulate, pollute, poison, rape and murder their own Planet, committing its own destruction as a species in the process? No, a truly intelligent species does not. I've watched enough water wasted on trying to make apartments aesthetically charming, but other ground cover that is more natural to our drought state should be used instead. There should be a limit to the amount of water used by apartment sprinkler systems - SPECIFICALLY sprinklers. They are rammed into by cars, not repaired, and not maintained well enough. Private water use is high enough. A tax incentive of a few dollars would stop this water waste easily.

As the president of BiNet USA, I work to advocate for bisexual people in America. As a friend of Larry Nelson, Brenda Howard’s surviving companion, I am deeply upset over the mistreatment of her legacy (Brenda passed from cancer in 2005). As a bi woman who has battled suicidality and survived sexual assault, I too represent the resiliency of the bisexual spirit in the face of poorer health and safety than our gay and straight counterparts.

This petition is to save a well known and well loved skate park. The Harrison County Skate Park is in jeopardy of being shut down and turned into a film studio. The skate park is pretty much the only place kids can go to do what they love. Not only Harrison county, but people from across the South depend on the skate park being up and running. People who play Roller Derby, hockey, skate board, and BMX there. It is a place worth saving. It is a place with history. Plenty of people have been going there since they were younger and hundreds of people are wanting it to stay.

Preventing commercial development of the CEMEX area is a commendable idea. However, opening the area to human activity such as camping, hiking, biking, picnicking, and horseback riding would negatively impact all Bonny Doon residents by greatly increasing the ever present danger of devastating forest fires.

Water is a decreasing resource in New Mexico and we should not waste water on green lawns for large-scale properties. Xeriscapes are beautiful and should be encouraged for commercial buildings. Imagine not being able to deliver water to residences; it could happen if we don't think ahead.

I am a drugs and alcohol counselor, and we serve clients who either have no insurance, marginal insurance, or Medicaid. Our clients have few choices on where to seek treatment. We are limited in the monetary resources we have to spend to obtain treatment materials. We use the Internet to find new treatment recommendations and to advocate for our clients.

Waste not-want not should be our mantle. To help people think GREEN, we need to provide an incentive!!

Nuclear facilities run by our government are dangerous and outdated. Sustainable alternative energy is safer, cleaner, and supported by many people in the state. I've written legislative representatives, several US Presidents and Governors of our state explaining Hanford's background and availability in choosing this option. Hanford is costing our state billions to monitor. It was initially built on Native American Land. Converting Hanford is the only sane option which would insure a safe and secure future.

We need signatures to be able to have our dress code changed at TuHS. Our dress code is unfair, and enforced in a sexist manner; furthermore, the way that it is enforced publicly humiliates the young women at our school.
