  • One octane and blend of gasoline.
Are you tired of higher prices at the gas pump? If you are, it is time to stand up and demand a change in fuel at the pump. If we insist on one type of gasoline, production will rise and the price will fall.

  • Mr. President: Stop Immoral Drone Strikes
On Sept 14, 2001, Congress passed the Authorization for Use of Military Force, freeing the president to send drones into Pakistan or other countries. Opponents of this despicable policy claim hundreds of civilians have been killed, despite denials by the administration. In its protest of nominee John Brennan as head of the CIA, Code Pink brought a list of names of victims, many of them children. We are Being Lied To Yet Again!

  • Please renew Philadelphia's firefighters contract
The Philadelphia Firefighters are THE BEST Organization within the City of Philadelphia workforce! I believe your group deserves Mayor Nutter to honor the contract you have requested -- NO MATTER who doesn't understand or accept the terms. I know first hand the quality of your employees represents an excellent model for the rest of the City employees to learn from. I had the pleasure of serving your many locations while working for AFLAC and note the team spirit each tour offers to one another and the community at large. If you think that your firefighters deserve fair treatment. If you think that your firefighters families deserve fair treatment. Or if you just think that Mayor Michael Nutter is a lying, cheating, and self serving mayor with no regard for the people that he "serves" then please sign this petition. Let Mayor Nutter and the members of the PFD know whose side you are on!

  • Banning use of cell phones while driving
I request that the use of cellphones while moving in a motor vehicle (i.e. driving that motor vehicle) be outlawed. It is a matter of safety. I frequently encounter other drivers who are preoccupied on their cell phones while poorly executing turns and other maneuvers in traffic It is not merely scary; it is life endangering and completely unnecessary.

  • End mass shootings
Proposed bans on assault type military firearms will not be effective in preventing mass shootings. Many other semi automatic and even lever or bolt action firearms can hold many cartridges for rapid fire. By allowing only singe shot firearms the danger of mass shootings would be reduced significantly.
