  • Husted let OH early vote on weekends
My name is Kevin Davis, and the reason why, I'm starting this petition is because while Secretary of State Husted has done a somewhat good thing by having uniform voting hours, they're only for early voting during the week though, not the weekend, still trying to suppress the vote here in Ohio, which is still wrong.

  • Expired and unused medications
Unwanted medications are difficult to get rid of. They can't be thrown in the garbage or dumped down the drain, because they harm the water supply and landfills with toxic elements. Hazardous waste disposal sites are inconvenient and unaccessable for many people. I know I frequently have expired cold medicInes and out dated prescriptions. A law needs to be created that makes all pharmacies have a free drop off for unwanted medications. It should be the responsibility of the medical field to dispose of medications safely.

  • Support Justice Johnson's Struggle
Justice Bernette Johnson joined the Louisiana Supreme Court in 1994, elected to a special seat created to remedy racial disparities in Louisiana's justice system. Now, she's the lone black Supreme Court justice in a state where nearly one-third of residents are black. Johnson thought she was next in line on the seven-member panel to be chief justice, based on seniority. But some of her colleagues say that's not the case. The state constitution specifies that the judge with the longest service would automatically fill that position. Justice Johnson has been on the court longer than anyone other than Chief Justice Kimball.

  • Educate Teachers About Autism
I think that teachers everywhere should be educated about Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have ASD,and all of my teachers have never understood my Austism. They punish me for things like crying in class, not paying attention, standing up for what I believe in,not finishing homework, correcting them when they teach, and being disorganized. These are all symptoms of my ASD,but they don't seem to understand that. Me and my mother are organizing a walk-a-thon to raise money to hire an educator for the teachers of my school district, but I think that ALL teachers should have to be educated about the main mental disorders before being hired. It's becoming a serious problem, not just in my town, but everywhere. I know there's a chance I'll get in trouble at school if this rule is passed, but it's worth it if I can make things right. Please sign this petition to end the misunderstanding between Autistic kids and their teachers.

  • Publicly Funded Elections
Elections should be funded only by public moneys. That way our elected representatives will know that their performance must be in the public's interest, and the public can expect their elected representatives to represent them as should be done in our country.

  • Why in the World are They Spraying
People around the world are noticing that our planet's weather is dramatically changing. They are also beginning to notice the long lingering trails left behind airplanes that have lead millions to accept the reality of chemtrail/geoengineering programs. Could there be a connection between the trails and our severe weather? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEfJO0-cTis&feature=share

  • Bring back the Fairness Doctrine
Since Reagan repealed the Fairness Doctrine in the mid 1980's, our airwaves have been chocked full of lies, deliberate misrepresentations and slander. Presented in a format imitating real news, it suggest these misleading comments are true and unbiased. It has created a dangerous arena for balanced political equality. It is time to reinstate this law and get back to serving the public's interest.

  • Make them honor their commitment
When most veterans signed up, it was with the promise of being able to utilize veteran hospitals for future medical needs. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Many veterans have had their benefits discontinued because of the fact that it isn't a "service related" injury. Even worse, after most go and spend literally eight hours to have a five minute conversation with VA case workers where they are told that now they must wait 18 months for processing. In many cases, 18 months without treatment is simply not an option. Left with two options, a veteran can either wait until they become destitute enough to receive benefits, or go try a private provider (with a pre-existing condition). Until we make them honor the commitment made to our brave soldiers, how can they ask the soldiers to honor theirs?

  • Todd Akin has to go!
Congressman Todd Akin (R) is currently running for the Senate in Missouri. He recently stated that women don't get pregnant from legitimate rape! While he is backpedaling hard right now, he is CLEARLY too biased, uneducated, and extremist to even remotely represent the people of Missouri, or anyone else for that matter! Conservative or liberal, doesn't matter: Todd, time for you to resign!

  • The right of "we the people" to vote
The efforts presently underway in a number of states to disenfranchise selected categories of voters, particularly minorities and the elderly are morally wrong and should be illegal.
