    My son sustained a traumatic brain injury requiring an expensive stay in the ICU, trauma care and many, many CT scans of his head. Now, as a result of "budget" cuts, he no longer qualifies for AHCCCS....! Lack of this benefit causes increased burden on patient, families and encourages non-compliance with medical treatment. We are calling on our governor to return the needed health care benefit to the people, before the health care crisis is out of control...

  • MSG-MAJOR HEALTH HAZARD!
    This petition has been started to lead to the total discontinuation of the manufacture of MSG (Monosodium Glutamate). For anyone with migraines, this is the fastest trigger to start a migraine. My wife has had many a migraine after knowingly (and unknowingly) ingesting something with MSG in it. Chinese and Japanese foods are the biggest culprit. Migraine sufferers, beware!!!

This year has been the hottest on record for the U.S. and the thirteen warmest years for the planet have all occurred since 1998. Although difficult to prove for individual cases, recent droughts, temperature records, and extremely intense tornadoes and hurricanes are predicted by climate models and may be attributed to climate change.

  • Congress is holding the Economy Hostage.
    Congress will not pass anything that has to do with raising taxes, how do they expect to pay for anything. Congress does not want the Federal Government to pay for anything.     Colorado shooting suspect James Holmes purchased 6,000 rounds of ammunition online in the weeks leading up to his militaristic assault at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. According to Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates said, "All ammunition he possessed, he possessed legally." If recent history is a guide, this mass shooting is unlikely to change political sentiment about guns rights and gun control in any lasting way. Previous shooting rampages, like those at Columbine High School and Virginia Tech, produced only brief calls for stricter gun laws which ultimately fell silent to the protests of the NRA.

    The Social Security Administration needs to be examined by the House Oversight Committee. This government agency does not serve the interests of the American public and is an enemy of senior Americans. The draconian penalties of multiple 10% cumulative penalties over the lifetime of citizens which no public or private organization, including the IRS, is permitted to extract from any client is outrageous..Compared to any private for-profit insurer, the SSA is the worst provider of health care. We must never permit the SSA to administer any health care insurance and certainly not a single payer program.
