A live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film set to open December 25, 2013 is being produced by Michael Bay. On March 14, 2012 at Nickelodeon Upfront, Bay described that his version of the beloved turtles would be "from an alien race." We are calling on Paramount Pictures to stop this ridiculous plot change and to fire Michael Bay; not only to keep our 2013 Christmas a merry one but to keep the Teenage MUTANT Ninja Turtles from becoming the Teenage ALIEN Ninja Turtles.

Would like for Zimmerman to pay for the crime for shooting of Trayvon Martin

Rush Limbaugh openly harassed Sand Fluke by calling her a "slut" and saying she should make a "sex video." This is a blatant attempt at vilifying women who use contraceptive pills. He should not be allowed to continue being on the radio, and it gives KLIX radio a bad name if they should keep his show running on their station.

The Idaho Legislature is arguing whether wealthy Idahoans should get a $35 million tax break or if Idaho teachers should receive the pay that was cut last year for a savings of $35 million. This tax break only helps the wealthiest of Idahoans. Even a family of four making $100,000 per year would only see a tax savings of $71.00! It's more important that our children receive a quality education than for the rich to get another tax break.

We need the matter of Trayvon Martins death to be looked into further! This child was not armed, yet gunned down in the street. The person that took this young mans life is still walking free. Anyone that knows an ounce of law knows that walking away from the victim or crime, especially without a weapon the person is not a threat. Yet this 28 year old Zimmerman was justified with a self-defense plea. This has prejudice and hate crime stink all over it! Those that have the power of change, need to start exerting it now. Let there be light shed on the social injustices and double standards that still plague our country. Those that commit unjustified crimes need to be brought to justice while following proper procedure. Zimmerman needs to be held until proven otherwise.

Justice for Trayvon Martin. There is no case for self defense on the part of an obese privileged white male that simply feels he was justified in shooting and killing a 16 yr old he stated was coming at him , or simply bc this man was intimated by this young man's race and style of dress!! This is a sad day I'm America if nothing is done to bring this man to justice because he doesn't have the right to take a young man's life!!

Changing our time back and forth is damaging to health and the environment. We need to leave our time one way or the other. We really need daylight savings time more in the winter months when the daylight hours are so short.

Hi, This petition is for all veterans, family members and anyone who is concerned about veterans and their families. There have been several foreclosures of homes owned by veterans in Bell County. Some foreclosures were due to unemployment, and others were due to medical issues. I am sure that veterans and their families losing their homes to foreclosures are occurring around the country. This petition is asking President Obama to take the middleman – BANKS out of the home loan process to veterans and their families. The objective of this petition is to ask President Obama to allow veterans to borrow directly from the government and take the middle man out of the home loans to veterans’ process. The Obama administration has done this with student loans. Students who want to borrow money for higher education can now borrow directly from the Department of Education. Why not extend this to veterans’ home loans by allowing veterans to borrow directly from the Veterans Administration who is currently the guarantor for all veterans’ home loans. It shall decrease the rate of foreclosure for veterans, reduce their mortgage payments, and allow them to pay off their loans sooner. More importantly, it will reduce homelessness amongst veterans. Help stop the bleeding of veterans; take the middle man out of the home loan business. Why should you care about this? In the community that I live in, several veterans and their families have lost their homes to foreclosures. Perhaps in the communities that you live in, the same has happened. I know of veterans who have paid for 15 to 20 years on their mortgages and now because of medical issues, or unemployment their homes are being foreclosed.
