Tell our government and elected officials that we are FED UP with seeing grocery carts full of JUNK FOOD! We would like to see a rule in place that will FORBID the sale of foods that derive more than 50 of their overall calories from FAT or SUGAR. This simple and effective rule would do TWO proactive things: Recipients would buy acctual FOOD with their FOOD STAMPS and producers of high fat/high sugar products would either lose sales or they would change to meet the requirement. The State should Incourage companies to set up manufacturing operations here that the average educated person of Louisiana could secure a good job. The chemical and ship build industries could incourage the ledgilature to give reasons to have other industries come to Louisiana. Why don't they do so? Is it because that they don't want to compete for labor? Let's get the powers that be in our state to give incentives to manufacturers to come to Louisiana.

I would like to enforce the Dodd/Frank bill to regulate the banks and wall street. It's difficult to stay on a budget when the cost of gas keeps fluctuating so much. Dodd/Frank will assist in factoring in the events that cause price elevation in summer months. Also the commodities speculators should not be allowed to drive up prices due to things like impeding war with Iran. This happened with the housing bubble which is why Dodd/Frank was created.

Support for the Kansas Agricultural and Livestock Community, who through hard work and thoughtful research, have designed a fair, legal, and compassionate solution to the Kansas labor shortages. Request that in the best interest of Kansas, that legislators and public officials strongly encourage Kris Kobach to resign as Kansas Secretary of State.

SC lawmakers are trying to pass an outrageous copycat bill that Florida passed last year where people that receive unemployment insurance will have to pass a drug test to receive benefits. There is no proof or empirical evidence that people that receive unemployment insurance use more drugs than people who do not. So far in Florida 98 % who have taken drug tests to receive benefits have been passed. its time we stop sterotyping people who are unemployed and stop wasting taxpayer time with bills that have no impact on the people, and get to working on bills that do.

One Mental Health Consumer-Run initiative in Kansas saves the State thousands of dollars each day. Support these initiatives with taxpayer dollars and help individuals with mental illness stay in their communities.

Bring back the sense of being together in Wisconsin. Regain the spirit of Packerland to collaborate with one another and move forward together. Eliminate those from political office who pit one against another simply to empower themselves and their money backers. Bring back the days of Proximire and Dreyfus and Badger spirit. Wisconsin Together must return!
