Save Hubbard County Social Services!Hubbard County Social Services provides support to the most vulnerable members of the community: abused and neglected children and adults. The current leadership has caused a toxic work environment, leading to over 50% staff turnover in two years. Last year, the county board decided that in lieu of investigating the problem, they would hire a consultant to find out why the department has become so dysfunctional. Since then, the board has refused to abide by the consultant’s recommendations. Between hiring and ignoring an expensive consultant and paying for interviewing, hiring, and training new staff, the county board is wasting tens of thousands of dollars of taxpayer money, all while continuing to put the community members who rely on county services at serious risk.765 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Claire Thiele

Force all Trump-Republicans to enroll in TrumpcareObamacare or the Affordable Care Act has made healthcare affordable and efficient. If Trump-Republicans don't like it they should be forced to enroll in Trumpcare and leave those that have benefitted from the ACA the hell alone.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ralph J. Zingaro

Bring fiberoptic internet to our areaI live in a rural area of Lucasville OH and we have had extremely unreliable phone and internet service for years. The areas we experience trouble is Rush, Union and Morgan townships, specifically. We rely on land lines because of a lack of cell towers and reliable cell signal. There are elderly and disabled individuals who desperately need working communication services. We have been told by Frontier customer service that we are getting fiberoptic internet in our area, only to be informed later by service technicians that we will not be getting it on our road or those past us. We pay for services not being rendered. The bill comes regardless of whether or not we have service and we pay because we have no other alternatives. We are formally requesting that fiberoptic internet and reliable phone service be provided in our areas as soon as possible.22 of 100 SignaturesCreated by K. Wilson

Reduce Military SpendingThe U.S. allots over half our discretionary spending to the military. This encourages war and deficit spending while taking resources from higher priorities like environmental restoration, healthcare and education. This must be reversed.59 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Karsten Mueller

Protect our ballots from rigging and hackingIn light of current news of nation-state interference in US elections, every state has the responsibility to safeguard its entire election process against rigging, hacking and computer errors. According to election security experts, only hand marked paper ballots, robustly audited by publicly witnessed hand counts, can protect our elections by catching tallying errors - whether due to rigging, hacking or computer error - after the fact. New York currently has no reliable path to 100% hand count, which courts have prevented even in very close elections (e.g. Johnson v. Martin, Nassau County, 2010). Currently, NYS law allows vendors to choose which voting machines to submit for certification. We need to establish an RFP process and outlaw voting machines that can print over voter-marked or voter-approved ballots - the only ones vendors are currently submitting for certification! And we need to establish a right to recount like 43 other states have in close elections or upon candidate- and voter-petition initiative. Otherwise, our elections are invitations to riggers and hackers. And now the courts have ruled that voters and reporters can’t ever see the ballot images - the photos taken by our scanners - because they must be preserved and therefore can’t be FOILed for two years - after which they can be destroyed! That must be reversed by legislation. Public display of ballot images would be a way for voters to verify for ourselves the accuracy of the computer count.32 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Julie Weiner

Decentralize the Democratic DebatesThe debate format works best with just two debaters and is useless with 10 candidates on-stage, who are competing for attention instead explaining their positions. Instead, candidates would be randomly assigned debate partners as well as their debate location. The debates would ask the same questions and be held simultaneously so no candidate gets an unfair advantage and would give every candidate a fair chance to state why they believe they are the best person to lead the country. By posting videos of all the debates on-line, we could listen to the responses of all candidates to each question to more easily figure out who gave the best answers and whose answers most closely matched our own ideas, as well as which candidates avoided giving real answers to hard questions. On-line voting could be used to assess which answers were most popular instead of who shouted loudest or expressed the most outrageous statements.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nelson Chamberlain

May or May-or NOT we want your resignation in HonoluluMayor Kirk Caldwell June 16, 2019. The People of Hawai'i, and its Residents of Waimanalo Honolulu, HI. Hereby, declare immediate demand for Mayor Kirk Caldwell and Community Board Chair Wilson Kekoa Ho's resignation. We the People of Hawai'i hereby request an immediate investigation of fraudulent use of our taxes for unsustainable reasons by both Mayor Kirk Caldwell and Waimanalo Community Board Chairman Wilson Kekoa Ho. We have no reasons to justify these losses by both members of the City. Mahalo , Mel Wildman. ** Hi Rev Statues, HI Rev Stat § 205A-44 (2013). And HI Rev Stat §171-58.5, and §205A-44. All seem to say the same thing....Leave what is not yours alone....we could pretty much file an injunction upon the legitimate fact where public is concerned. Any public body subject to the State Budget Act, Chapter 143C of the General Statutes and exercising quasi-judicial functions, during a meeting or session held solely for the purpose of making a decision in an adjudicatory action or proceeding. ( § 143-318.12. Public notice of official meetings. (case notes AG). ** We should not allow our Public servants or Officials of Government in Office, apply waste and abuse of our funds that show lack of sustainable purpose to our human needs. This project is irrelevant to all purposes of Human need. Wildman. Additional information : This situation of his projects to the public is total incompetence of his ability to properly serve as Mayor to the City and County of Honolulu. His past service in office included an implied scam and contract with a Mr. Lyon, regarding the Airport Contract deal. Then tried to hide the information by getting rid of the documents the minute he heard Mr. Lyon was being investigated by the FBI. 1. His ability to cause conflict of public tax payers and fees are noted. 2. His ability to create huge losses to the entire STATE for the rail. 3. His incompetence to not control his rail FUNDS. 4. His mismanagement of the rail and its financial losses to taxpayers. 5. His project of Wiamanalo Sherwood is "irrelevant" and totally a loss to taxpayers. His obligations in office is incomplete in his projects, The Rail has failed since he got into Office...and still continues to plummet in COST. Instead of building a baseball field in his district he proposed a District he is not even raised or born in. And should had built it where his rail would serve the purpose of transportation in Waipahu, Not Waimanalo. He must be called to " resign " or be impeached due to his incompetent acts in Office. 6. His project of the Rail Is funded by the taxpayers , those who live on the Windward side to the East side have no use of it. Those who live on the outer Islands have no use for it. And , now he wants to build a baseball field on a sacred ground in Waimanalo...with whose taxes ? Evey person on the Outside Islands and East / Northshore / Windward Oahu have no use for the Rail. Now both, Mayor and Waimanalo Community Board Chairman Mr. Wilson Kekoa Ho, wishes for all of you named in the above to pay taxes for the Mayors Baseball Field and park. In this case the full project involves a $32 million plan to build a regional sports center, including a Little League diamond, a full-size baseball field, two additional fields that could be used for rugby or soccer and up to 470 parking stalls. Phase 1 includes one ball field, a playground and 11 parking stalls, at a cost of $1.42 million. What part of this project does he promote '' SUSTAINABILITY ?". Mayor Caldwell , can you prove to me that it is sustainable for food ? or sustainable for environmental purpose or climate control , or housing ? what part of this project is relevant to human needs ? There is no relevance to Human Need in this project. But i do see a large kickback from its Developers like the Lyon scam investigation. This is virtually a sign that you are mentally incompetent to your position as Mayor. They gym has not been repaired or completed in repairs, we have a baseball field in Waimanalo already, You are born and raised in a district that your rail is situated in...and should have had built a baseball field instead of a RAIL !....Wildman. ***** Now know the facts. (1). There was no legal Treaty of Annexation between Hawai’i and the U.S. (2). The conspirators were called insurgents by U.S. president Glover Cleveland in his address to the U.S. Congress. (3). The U.S. apology law is a domestic law which means it has no effect in Hawai’i. (4). All ceded lands aka Crown lands are not for sale for profit by the State or City. (5). City has no rights to Crown lands they are not an Heir of. (6). Damages to crown lands that are sacred by a Non-Hawaiian is "racial' discrimination. (7). People of Hawai'i and its community shall have the right to claim solidarity and peace to their community for the sake of Humanity. And shall not be abrdiged by the Government to incur distrubance to their peace, their lifestyle , or their religious beliefs. The people and Residents of Waimanalo hereby call for your immediate resignations of Office. Wildman. Jun 16, 2019.32 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Melvin Mcaulton
