• Family Court Abuses
I'm Petitioning San Franciscp family court, to get judge accountability. 8 year old "Amir Lamar Brown" ( that grew up in San Franciscxo Ca., with his two brothers and, father that he can no longer see) has not seen half of his family in 2 years, bacause family court system practices toxic separations, over civilized. And when one parent can no longer "pay" to see their child, they lose custody. So after 1 1/2 years of "paid supervised visits", 3 attorneys (at over 7,000$), and 15 UA's (all clean). I have no visits, no contact, bacause a judge said-so. And Amir's growing up fatherless. Even though his father has been fighting to be in his life. Judges should not have the power to separate families without cause.

  • BMX Girls Are Experts, Too!
My 6-year-old daughter asked me why girls aren't called "experts" in BMX. Not allowing girls to be classified as "experts" is an outdated gender-based stereotype that impacts the development of our kids. The girls in BMX should be granted the same honor that boys are granted after they work their way to the ultimate proficiency in amateur BMX racing.

  • Choose a Sustainable Volusia
For far too long wealthy land owners in Florida have inhibited the ability of Soil & Water Conservation Districts to properly advise residents on the long term effects of current laws and urban development practices. Our goal is to re-enable SWC Districts all across the state thereby protecting the future of all Floridians.

  • Landa's Legacy: Legalizing Medicinal Marijuana on the Federal Level
Stacy's chemotherapy worked! She was cancer free. However, the chemotherapy she took to kill her cancer also killed her heart. She had less than 10% usage of her heart and was placed on a pacemaker. She was a candidate for a mechanical heart but because she used Washington State approved medicinal marijuana, she was denied her Federal lifesaving treatment. She died on July 5, 2018. These laws need to coincide with one another. A cancer patient should never be denied treatment for using State LEGALIZED marijuana only to be denied lifesaving treatments on a Federal level.

  • Demand the Resignation of Alex Azar, Secretary of Health and Human Services
The "zero tolerance" policies of separating families as they entered the United States has created a humanitarian crisis. In the video clip, Secretary of Health and Human Services, Alex Azar, states he could find a child and their parents with a couple of "key strokes". "A convergence of cruelty and incompetence"* is being perpetuated with a lack of empathy and planning. Even under a court order to re-unite children with their families, Secretary Azar maintains his position, while desperate families, some already deported have not spoken to or know where their children are being held. https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2018/06/26/alex-azar-separated-families-valencia-dnt-lead-vpx.cnn/video/playlists/family-separations/ *7/8/2018 Senator Dick Durbin, (D-ILL) interview on Meet the Press Update 7/10/18 https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/10/politics/azar-hhs-child-separation-immigration-charity-cnntv/index.html American Academy of Pediatrics report on Separation at the Border https://www.aap.org/en-us/about-the-aap/aap-press-room/Pages/StatementOpposingSeparationofChildrenandParents.aspx?utm_medium=Email&utm_source=ExactTarget&utm_campaign=NewsDailySubscribers20180710&mc_key=003i000003Q8kWMAAZ

  • Boycott Maine and Alaska Products and Tourism
In addition to the fate of Women's Reproductive Rights, the appointment of the next Associate Justice to the Supreme Court will impact this country in other ways for generations to come. Evidence is mounting that our current President and his associates colluded with this nation's enemies to rig this country's 2016 Presidential Election. It seems more likely each day that the continued existence of our Democracy may depend on decisions made by the U.S.Supreme Court. The Justices may well be asked to rule on the constitutionality of : a) Requiring a sitting President to appear before a Grand Jury when subpoenaed; b) A President pardoning him/herself or his/her co-conspirators in an act of espionage c) Indicting a sitting President. We must use every resource within our power to ensure that the next Associate Justice is a person of character and not a potential co-conspirator. Sens. Murkowski and Collins hold the power ensure that and we must force them to use it.

  • Support UVM Medical Center Nurses
The University of Vermont Medical Center has refused to bargain in good faith and has used intimidation tactics targeted at these nurses, who are bargaining for the resources they need to provide high-quality care to their community. The UVM Medical Center is the largest hospital in Vermont, which ranks 47th among the states in nurse pay levels. Because of this, the hospital is consistently understaffed—at this point, there are as many as 172 vacancies. Wages and staffing levels have become the focus of bargaining because our union members understand that more resources are essential for the medical center to be able to recruit and retain nurses. It is just plain wrong for the medical center to spend its growing revenues on satellite campuses and million-dollar executive salaries while leaving staffing and wages for the nurses who care for the people of Burlington at subpar levels. We need to send a message to those in charge and let them know that patient care—and those who provide it—should never take a back seat. The UVM Medical Center has expanded its operations, and its revenue continues to grow. The hospital is doing well because of its staff. It’s time for the hospital’s executives to demonstrate that they care for the people who provide the patient care that Burlington relies on.

  • Trump should not be allowed to meet “off the record” with Putin
I do not trust that Trump will not do whatever he thinks he needs to do to win the mid-terms, including conspiring with Russia to interfere. Until his innocence is demonstrated, he must not be allowed to meet alone and off the record with Putin.
