This petition is to demand Congress enact an order stating that Donald Trump cannot take any actions needed to remove Special Counsel Robert Mueller from the Trump - Russia Investigation. Due to the growing fear that appears to be escalating daily, we must join together and unite for the betterment of our Country. We deserve to know the truth and Special Counsel Mueller is rapidly moving towards it. Energy Secretary Rick Perry has made heinous comments suggesting that expanding fossil fuel development will decrease incidents of sexual assault. Not only is this blatantly untrue, it is an inexcusable attempt to minimize a serious and pervasive issue. Women, and particularly women of color, are among some of the most severely impacted by the climate crisis, and it is these same communities that are most at risk of sexual assault. Rick Perry's attempt to exploit this struggle to justify further dangerous fossil fuel development is unacceptable. He does not deserve to hold office another day with these twisted ideas. Rick Perry was already unfit to lead the Department of Energy. But now, before he causes any more damage, he must resign.

Our country is at a tipping point. Our President and Congress work for us as the Citizens. President Trump consistently bullies everyone. He is putting our safety and our way of life in jeapordy. Every day it gets worse. He shows a dangerous disrespect and disregard for all we hold dear and all we have fought for dearly; our constitution, our laws, our values, the earth, and our relationships with the rest of the world. It is up to our Congress, to restrain him. Call his words, the fringe people and groups he supports, and his bullying actions for what they are- an enormous threat to America and the world. They must stop him now.

Responsible gun owners support common sense gun control: universal background checks, keeping guns out of the hands of those with a history of mental illness or violent crime. The NRA doesn't and they also don't want to see research done on gun violence, they want to sell more guns and wipe out any legislation that might endanger their profits.

Our elected officials should not be accepting campaign contributions from the National Rifle Association. How can they be unbiased on NRA matters that come before them if they are receiving NRA money. We sent them to Washington to work on our behalf. Ninety percent of voters say they want background checks on all gun sales. And yet, the people we send to vote on our behalf do nothing to protect the American people from the proliferation of guns.

Mimi Walters has consistently voted against her constituents' wishes and will even take money from the NRA to make sure she keeps her vulnerable seat. She has to be held accountable for supporting an organization that preaches hate and arms citizens with weapons like the one used by the Las Vegas shooter.
