Countless students at colleges and universities across Utah have enrolled on the hope for the promising future provided by DACA. Now they are in a state of limbo as they await the determination of their dreams' fate. These individuals have the right to an education and a fighting chance toward a successful future.

I Love my Country. Please, we need some mercy now. Trump is a very unstable man with the power to light up the world. He admits to sexually molesting women without consent. Trump deeply insults our military active folks and vets. He claims to be the commander-in-chief even though he is in constant pain from bone spurs. He has collaborated with a declared enemy country. Keep the right? To own long guns with HUGE clips that are easily converted to rapid repeaters. Yes, we need a little mercy now.

Since the vote this November 7th, our company and many others like it have received countless calls and emails regarding the misleading wording of Proposition 1 on the ballot. These concerned citizens called and wrote to inform us that due to the confusing wording on their ballots, that they voted against cannabis companies when they had intended to vote for cannabis companies and their ability to operate within Yakima County.

As a mother, I feel gut agony to witness in TV reports of war actions and in US mass murders children and babies shot, suffering hideously.

Craig Carton is a great radio host and a great family man. He deserves to have the opportunity to work and provide us, his fans, an opportunity to laugh, smile and talk sports and entertainment. He deserves an opportunity to provide for his family and his charitable organizations that help 100s of children with Tourettes. We should always consider people innocent until proven guilty. My experience with Craig for 10+ years has been seeing a wonderful family man, a philanthropist and supporter of Tourettes VIA his Tic Toc Stop 501c Charity, A great friend and a very funny, witty and smart radio host. He deserves his day in court and an opportunity to continue to entertain us. If what he is accused of he is convicted of , that path can be taken if and when. In the meantime, the guilty until proven innocent provocation is unjust. We must rally around someone that deserves to be heard and shouldn't have his, his wife's and 4 children's lives completely ripped out from under them without proper procedures and justice. I believe he is innocent of the charges and I encourage all of his fans to help me petition his former employer or future employer the opportunity to know that he is a wanted and a valuable asset to the Radio community. This petition is not sanctioned by Craig nor was/is he aware I have started it. I know he has a lot of fans and we should all try to have his back as he has for ours. He is a man of integrity. He is a supporter of NYCPD, NYCFD, unions, the working man. His radio persona is an act. He is a great guy. A GREAT Father. A Great husband and he should be allowed to work and provide for them and entertain his fans.

Aside from the many mass shootings taking our great nation by storm. Right here in our own community, we have now seen our 17th homicide. Change will not come on it’s own, it requires action from the people. Gun violence is out of control in the United States, but especially in the Lehigh Valley. Now more then ever is the time to let our elected officials know that we don’t want gun reform, we need it! Before more lives are lost, The time to act is now.

I am starting a petition for my uncle Ronnie Lauderdale, who was sentenced two life sentences for non violent drug charges. My concern is that he is expected to die in prison and not be able to look outside of prison walls ever again in life. He has a family outside of prison that needs him more than anything. He has served 10 years in prison already. During the arrest there were no guns found in the initial search in Ronnie's presence. There were no interrogation tapes nor videos, or no signed statements, but yet, allegedly he admitted to the crime. Two hours later after he signed a statement to search him the officer mentioned "Oh yeah we found a gun." A gun that he knew nothing about and that should have been mentioned before the statement was signed. His first trial resulted in a hung jury after four days of deliberation. The jury consisted of ten whites and two blacks. After a second trial he was found guilty. During the first trial the sitting judge, Reagan made statements off the record stating no blacks would be on the next trial. As if to state that the only reason why Ronnie Lauderdale's trial ended with a hung jury is because blacks were apart of the jury. This judge recused himself for the second trial. A speedy trial was violated and granted immediate release, which was never done due to without prejudice reasons for speedy trial. After the grand jury indicted Lauderdale, they searched for more evidence by recruiting two jail house informants; one was a convicted bank robber and the other one was a convicted pedophile, who molested a ten year old boy. During the trial, Judge Murphy made a clear statement that the two jail house inmates were the most damaging to Lauderdale's case, whom he never knew or met before the trial. There's so many people committing crimes that's getting off with less time than Lauderdale with no questions asked. For instance, Mary Winkler killed her husband and plead guilty but was out of jail before she was even booked. It's evident that Lauderdale could have been convicted from previous charges that he's already done time for, but ten years for drugs is a lot that he's already served so being sentenced to two life sentences is unethical considering the fact that these charges were only drug related with no violence involved . I don't condone in anyone breaking the law and I think everyone should pay their debt to society, but there's people out here killing others and they will be out of jail sooner than him. It's not fair that his freedom was taken and he's not able to see or be with his family like other people. The only thing that's promised to us is DEATH and to die in jail for a none violent drug charge is probably the lowest thing a person could go through. Statistics say that black males aren't suppose to live outside of their freedom and it's evident that minorities are incarcerated way more often than whites, but the judicial system can make a change by eliminating these long life sentences for none violent drug charges. Help me help my uncle get his freedom back. Help me be the change that the system needs to grant freedom to Ronnie Lauderdale. Just like any other man, his family needs him! Please help us get this case reviewed again. Thank you!

The Meaderboro Road community is firmly united against a cell tower at this location. We already gathered over 200 signatures against AT&T's proposal of a tower at the same location in 2014. After being denied, AT&T walked away from their application because they realized they were in the wrong. Since then, another home has been built extremely close to the proposed location, homeowners in the neighborhood lost money on the sale of their home due to the possibility of T-Mobile's proposal, and eleven other locations in the area have been identified as possible alternatives, many of them much farther away from neighbors and less visible. The Meaderboro Road area is one of the most beautiful parts of Rochester, and we feel it should be kept that way. There are other locations that would not harm the scenic or historic nature of the road and would not financially harm the residents of the road.

Currently, the U.S. Department of State will only allow people who are female or male to travel out of the United States by restricting documents such as passports to two options: male and female. This is a horrifying and completely violates the Fourteenth Amendment, as it prevents nonbinary and intersex people from simply vacationing. Worse, it prevents nonbinary people from even seeking asylum in the few countries which will take them. This is completely absurd and unacceptable. If the U.S. does not want nonbinary people, it should at least allow them to leave, not imprison them and slowly watch them suffer. That is also a violation of the eighth amendment.

I am a survivor of sexual abuse on several levels. Though I have not personally received any settlement payments, the fact that an employer of a perpetrator could benefit from such payments through a tax deductible loophole in our current tax law, is an abomination. As a taxpayer, this adds insult to injury. Please sign my petition to tell our U.S. House Representatives and Senators to eliminate this loophole.

Many AKC Parent Clubs are taking advantage of the AKC ruling to allowing qualified non-permitted individuals to judge specialty shows. The DCPA Constitution & By-Laws requires that individuals nominated be AKC Approved Judges. The Constitution needs to be revised to allow members the right to nominate any individuals the membership deems qualified to preside over our dogs at Specialty shows whether they be AKC permitted or not..
