I cannot get one even though I am totally handicapped. My right to be disabled has been nullified even though I have been handicapped since 1990. My apt. complex states I must pay for one even though other residents have not. A complete/thorough investigation was never properly excuted by fair housing/civil rights. They state because I live on the 2nd floor, I am not entitled. I had handicapped parking when I moved here, then they took it away. I want to be protected by police with just a "reserved" sign, I am not and constantly harassed. How many times should a disabled person be harassed, once, twice, sometimes, never, akways?

As I understand it, the 2nd. amendment only covers the use of front loading muskets.

As an American I feel Im being robbed every time my name and personal information is used and sold to companies with out compensation.I am starting a petition to get paid 20% every time mine or any legal american's information is sold, to be paid for by the buyer or seller.

Numerous minorities have been murdered by police, and there have been no indictments by the local district attorneys. We feel there has been a pattern to these injustices and we want the federal authorities to come in and investigate these cases .

We were all effected by GOP's attempt to suppress our vote and now they are using different tactics. They want to award electoral votes via Congressional districts. The problem being Congressional districts are not created equal and this would in essence give Republicans an unfair advantage while simultaneously discounting the vote of Americans who live in Urban Areas. Unknown to most people, there is a mountain named "Negro Mountain" which straddles the Pennsylvania/Maryland border. Rep. Rosita Youngblood (D, Philadelphia) is introducing legislation to change the name. The mountain was named to honor Nemesis, a slave who died fighting alongside the British in the French and Indian War. Rep. Younblood wants to change the name of the mountain to reflect the man's heroism, not his skin color. Please ask your legislators and Gov. Corbett to change the name of the mountain, and bring Pennsylvania into the 21st century.

This petition is about alerting my fellow Americans to the fact that credit companies like Equifax and others are taking private financial information of its customers and selling it to other companies to make profit, and trying to get Congress to act to stop this in its tracks.

You've already gerrymandered the districts at the state level to safely keep seats for your party intact and ensure wins in the state legislature and in the House of Representatives in DC but now are planning to win the 2016 Presidential elections the same way via redistricting the maps in WI, OH, PA, FL, MI, VA which are all controlled by gop legislatures and went to President Obama. In WI and PA, state reps openly admitted that Voter ID laws "would have made it easier to give the election to his opponent but in WI where we do not have Voter ID yet, that d/n happen and in PA where they DO, it d/n happen either so all these states are looking at now changing the district maps of the EC after almost 20 years!!! CHEATING!!!

This petition is to promote tolerance and end bullying in Oklahoma schools. The health of our students and public school system is in the balance.

I am the proud mother of a gay son, and it angers me when professional athletes make homophobic remarks. We have too many kids who are bullied because of their sexual orientation or because others perceive them to be gay. It's time to end homophobia now, and athletes need to lead on this issue, not to continue a tradition of making demeaning remarks about gays in the NFL or anywhere in our society.
