I hope you don't mind a little salmonella and E. coli in your chicken. Because if the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) gets its way, chicken contaminated with disease, feathers and other really disgusting stuff could be on its way to your dinner plate within the year. About 3,000 Americans die from food-borne illnesses each year. Instead of doing more to protect our families, the USDA is facing budget cuts by taking it out on the inspectors we need. Not only would about 1,000 get the boot—the inspectors who keep their jobs would be told to inspect 175 chickens per minute. That's more than three chickens per second!

"Veterans gave their blood. Wall Street took their H.O.P.E. (Homes. Opportunity. Prosperity. Equality.)" This fall, 20,000 combat veterans will march on Washington to demand justice from our politicians- justice for abandoning their needs, ignoring their pleas, and selling their dignity (dignity they've earned through blood and sacrifice) to banks, corporations, and the highest bidder.

Who will pay for the new baby boom if the rightys take away birth control? The children will be neglected of health-dental care, education? parents-familys stressed without, jobs,benifits, paycheck, resources, rates of abuse, neglect will increase. Children will suffer, their blood on rightes hands. This is not what democracy should look like!

We have a revenue crisis, not a debt problem. The U.S greedy wealthy of imagined nobility and hereditary privilege actually believe they have "entitlement" to plunder U.S. revenues at will with impunity. Once our Republic is free of this cancerous culture of greed and corruption afflicting only the1% of imagined nobility and hereditary privilege then real egalitarian and economic justice will be enjoyed by the 99%. The Mission Statement of the Preamble to the Constitution mandates egalitarian and economic justice for the "general Welfare" of all U.S. citizens under our constitutionally mandated "Republican Form of government." All other forms of government have proven to be oppressive and tyrannical, i.e., Monarchism, Communism, Fascism, Theocracy, Libertarianism, Corporate Commie Capitalism of cheap labor, Monopolistic Corporate Capitalism of cheap labor, Free-market Capitalism of cheap labor or any other form thereof masked as a "Republican Form of government", etc., ad nauseam. A fair tax rate for these incorrigible freeloaders is the 92% rate they paid in the 1950s now reduced to 15% or no taxes at all via their on-going sabotage of our constitutional Republic. This incorrigible criminal class of multi-millionaires and billionaires actually receive government welfare checks every year amounting in the billions!!! They have yet to earn a single dollar of their immense wealth untainted by their culture of greed and corruption.

Help state legislation pass a law prohibiting businesses and financial institutions from overcharging excessive amounts of money in fees that extend sometimes beyond half of the total amount owed on a customer's original bill. This has to stop! There is no logical, rational, or ethical justification good enough to allow anyone to overcharge a customer these outragious amounts in late fees. I propose we petition to pass a law that would prohibit these institutions from billing a customer anything above 30% of the total amount originally owed on a bill. Even the best of us fall behind on our payments from time to time. That shouldn't give a business the right to punish us with fees that purposely put us farther into debt and helps send America farther into debt needlessly.

Oil that is within the earth, under the United States territory is a National treasure and belongs to the Citizens of the United States. Let us profit from it, and not give it to the oil companies to sell it back to us.

In pennsylvania and all over this country the American people are fooled into buying food items that contain GENETICALLY modified organisms. In other words, changing the genetic make-up of a food to make it more appealing to the consumer. Seriously, if you look up the "flavor saver" tomato, it was an experiment on the people with this alien tomato that got terrible reviews. That doesn't stop companies like Monsanto from genetically engineering a HUGE percent(over 75%) of corn, soy beans and cotton in the US. Don't we do deserve to know that this is in the food we feed to our families? Shouldn't it be our decision if we want our cereal to have GMO corn flakes or fresh organic corn flakes? Shouldn't there be tests on the safety of these products before releasing them onto the public in the 1990's? We have the right to be informed. Knowledge is power and when the right to be informed is taken away then we lose our voice and the FDA doesn't react to inaction. We as a people cannot make educated decisions on our health without the FDA taking the proper steps in labeling all foods that contain these harmful and alien ingrediants. Organic farrmers cannot stand alone in this fight. Organic farmers are being sued left and right by huge companies like Monsanto, and other farmers and being forced to buy Monsanto's seeds every year. This has to stop. Labeling is important. After PINK SLIME I think we can all agree on that.

In 2010, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) began a campaign against small farmers who raise heritage pigs. Their claim is that heritage pigs are feral pigs that cause damage to the environment and carry disease. Farmers attempted to stop this action through a senate action, and the senators thought that the decision should be stopped. But when the senators were preparing to vote, they were being lobbied by presumably Big Pork producers, and after that, the decision remained. Beginning on 1 April 2012, the DNR will begin enforcing this decision by "depopulating" these small farms and the farmers will be felons for raising pigs that have be farmed for decades.

In 2009 the Indiana legislature took away the power of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission over cable and internet providers. We need to restore this function to the IURC. Fed up with your service? Me too.

On January 21, 2010, with its ruling in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, the Supreme Court ruled that corporations are persons, entitled by the U.S. Constitution to buy elections and run our government. Human beings are people; corporations are legal fictions. We, the Citizens of Idaho, reject the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United, and ask our Congressional Representatives to amend our Constitution to: ~ Firmly establish that money is not speech, and that human beings, not corporations, are persons entitled to constitutional rights. ~ Guarantee the right to vote and to participate, and to have our vote and participation count. The Supreme Court is misguided in principle, and wrong on the law. In a democracy, the people rule. We ask our Idaho Congressional Representatives to support a constitutional amendment that reverses the damage of the Citizen United Supreme Court case.
