• stop NDAA indefinite detention with out due process in Illinois
The 2012 and 2013 National Defense Authorization Act allows indefinite detention of US citizens without charge for trial. This position is the move on repealing this language from the NDAA and maintaining the Constitution in Illinois.

  • Governor Rick Scott: We need real election reform now, including no less than 14 days of early vo...
On November 6th, voters in Florida were subject to long lines — sometimes waiting up to 7 hours, just to cast their vote. There were even voters in Miami-Dade County who were unable to vote until 1:30 a.m., long after the polls closed. Rick Scott and his Tallahassee politician puppets passed a sweeping voter suppression bill in 2011 that cut early voting from 14 days to 8, causing outrageously long lines we saw this past November. And those long lines had consequences. According to a new report, an estimated 201,000 Floridians were discouraged from voting. That is completely unacceptable. It is time we call on the governor and state legislature to fix the chaos they created. We must ensure the right to vote for all Floridians is not suppressed. Join Florida Watch Action as we call on Governor Rick Scott and the Florida legislature to enact real election reform without delay, including no less than 14 days of early voting.

  • Politician Responsibility: Fines for Lies
Any politician caught making a false public statement as fact will be fined $100,000. Politicians should be fined for publicly presenting fabricated information as fact, and, as adults, are expected to preface such statements they haven't verified with a disclaimer.

  • It's time to regulate cannabis!
Mohandas Gandhi said "No prohibition has ever withstood the test of time." A long overdue break in the fever of reefer madness that has swept this county's political and law enforcement class is now underway. Besides Massachusetts becoming the 18th medical marijuana state and legalization in Colorado and Washington, there are regulation and/or decrim bills in four state houses and industrial hemp bills in half a dozen more. Nevada can no longer afford to waste money trying to enforce our way out of this problem, while turning a blind eye to the revenue potential and harm reduction that establishing a legal and regulated market will bring. The "cure" of prohibition is far worse than the "disease" of responsible adults choosing cannabis over other intoxicating substances. Our Constitution is in tatters because of the failed drug war. After 76 years of failed prohibition, it is time to try a better approach. Let's regulate cannabis for responsible adults, keep it out of the hands of kids and grow a whole new tax-paying industry in our state!

  • unconstitution laws
For years our government has passed laws that are in direct conflict with the constitution. such as the NDAA for example. All those laws need to be rolled back and done away with. And any lawmaker who owns a business or is connected to a business (such as car insurance),should be denied the right to pass laws that would have an affect on that business.Such as (the mandatory car insurance laws.)
