While we are seeing a clear momentum across the country for passing common sense federal gun laws to ban the Sandy Hook mass murderer's weapon of choice, we need to push California lawmakers to close a dangerous loophole in our state law banning assault weapons before any Californians fall victim to more senseless violence. Currently gun makers in California are exploiting a loophole in the state's assault weapons law, which exempts firearms from the assault weapons classification if a "tool" is used to disengage the ammunition feeding device. They are taking advantage of this loophole by creating a device called a "bullet button," which allows a "tool," either the tip of a bullet or a small magnet, to effortlessly pop out the magazine. Because the magazine requires a tool to release it, the magazine is not considered "detachable" and thus the gun is exempt from California's assault weapons law. Thankfully, a member of the California State Senate - Senator Leland Y. Yee, has introduced assault weapons legislation ("SB47") that closes this so called "bullet button" loophole. The U.S. Navy has a plan called 'Hawaii-Southern California Training and Testing', at-sea war games which would employ mid-range SONAR saturation from Southern California to Hawaii. According to their own E.I.S. (Environmental Impact Statement), these war games will result in the killing and/or deafening of many whales, and cause hemorrhaging in the lungs of porpoises, among many other impacts on marine life. The Second Amendment Keeps Violent Crime Rates in The United States Much Lower than Other Nations with No Second Amendment Protection. The Second Amendment Has Kept Us Free for Over 200 Years! Our bus at Timpview High School is ridiculous, the students are out of control and also the bus driver. There is constant throwing of objects at other students putting them in danger. Snowballs, Oranges, Pencils, ect. And students throwing objects at the bus outside. Also the students throwing objects are doing other things as well, such as yelling out of the windows, opening the emergency exits and threatening other students on the bus. The bus driver does not do anything to prevent or stop this issue. She has made several threats but she does not take action. This needs to stop, we will no longer ride this bus if something does not happen. I personally will address someone with minority to help me with this issue.

To bring in and appoint a non Texan Commissioner to oversee the redrawing of the Local, State and Federal Congressional Districts. This Commissioners mandate would be to create Districts representing the broadest diversity yet insuring an equal balance between the parties. Where that was not possible, then insuring that the numerical advantage is diffused across the State allowing for a clear and unequivocal victory for the better idea and the will of the people.

Using a special license plate, raise funds to begin training Anatolian Shepherd's for farmers. These dogs are saving the Cheetah population, and sheep farmers are happy. There is no reason that wolves need to kill a farmer's property.... they just don't know any different. It looks like prey.

I've been aware that people do not completely understand child safety restraint laws and quite recently a child died from being in the wrong type of restraint. The child restraints themselves are sometimes too vague about who can or can not use the restraints. The whole thing needs clarification.
