While Jaindl has been rated in the top 98th percentile for animal welfare, investigators found thousands of baby birds in cramped and filthy conditions, taken away from their mothers, and with their beaks seared off. Many turkeys were unable to walk due to broken limbs. In the course of the investigation, DxE rescued a turkey and named her Avery (PresidentsTurkey.com). President Obama, a self-proclaimed animal lover, has the opportunity to take a strong stance against violence this Thanksgiving. Sign the petition and ask President Obama to pardon all the turkeys presented to the White House and cut ties with Jaindl and other animal abusing corporations.

A president is obligated to make decisions for the benefit of the country without any thought of personal or familial gain.

Mitch McConnell held up Merrick Garland's appointment to the Supreme Court because he wanted to hear the voice of the American people. The American people have now spoken and given 2 million more votes to the Democratic candidate than the Republican candidate. The scope of Trump’s empire means that his businesses are impacted by a wide range of government policies, including taxes, consumer protection, civil justice, financial regulation, employee rights, foreign policy, and much more. Trump has proposed transferring control to a misnamed “blind trust” under the direction of his children. That’s more like an all-seeing trust! It would do nothing to eliminate the staggering conflicts of interest. The American people need to know that Trump is not running the government to benefit his own corporate empire.

Fourteen years ago, my dad, Jerry kent Jones, was arrested on a Agervaited Robbery case because he was on drugs really bad. I really didnt know much about him. I was barley being born when he seen me. He was at the hospital and seen me be born, but he had to go because he was wanted and he was running from the police:/ The drugs took my dad from me my mom and my sister's. He had a history, but today, he is serving a life sentence without parole because he chose drugs , alcohol etc. My dad wasnt a bad guy. He just messed up..... like everyone does! People make mistakes and they learn from them! My dad has been in there 14yrs now and i think that is enough. He has missed my whole childhood and wasnt there for any events that included a father at school. He cant be here for when i graduate or when i get married etc.... It was hard for my mom because she had all five children to raise on her own. He was with my mom for a while. My mom Melissa Cheek and my grandma Sonia Cardenas would tell me stories about him. My dad would fix my older sister's hair in the morning for school and it would look pretty crazy. He would take care of my sisters and i know he loves us because he writes us letters. My dad Jerry kent Jones wasnt the best dad in the world but he was there for me and my sisters at some point. Its crazy how someone can kill somebody and get out 5 yrs later but my dad is in there for life. I don't see how his incarceration is serving any good purpose for our society. If President Obama does not commute my father's sentence, he will likely die in prison, especially since he has diabetes and has had medical complications and requirements that are not being properly met. i miss my dad with all my heart and soul!!! Please sign my petition so I can be with my father. We want to make up for the time we have missed out on. You will end so much suffering if this petition succeeds in bringing him home to me.
