• Stop Coal Exports in WA State
We strongly encourage the Washington State Governor and State legislature to say NO to coal export trains and terminals in our state! The proposed coal exports from the Powder River Basin threaten Washington States rivers, streams, wildlife, communities and Native American sacred sites.

  • keep midwifery and homebirth safe and legal
Midwifery and homebirth have always been legal in Texas. Study after study has shown homebirth with a qualified midwife to be safe. The choice of where and with whom a woman chooses to give birth is a fundamental human right. Please continue to protect that right.

  • Stop changing official state time twice a year
Much of the U.S. adjust its official twice per year, one hour forward in early March and one hour back in late September. Hawaii and Arizona do not participate in this process. California should opt out also. Such a change is the cause of much personal stress and inconvenience to great numbers of people, resulting in illnesses and loss of productivity at the work place. It is time to stop this foolishness.

  • More jobs
We have a lack of good paying jobs with benefits. Lack of stable jobs has caused great stress in my community. We have more temp services that hire for only a short time but there's always a fear after being hired of how long the job will last before lay- off. This has caused me a great deal of stress and I hope one day for a true change in our economy.

  • Remove felony after 10years
If you have served your time for your crime and proven you want to be a productive member of society by remaining out of trouble for 10years. I believe unless the felony is a murder crime or sex offense u should be able to have to non disclosed to potential employers. Crime rates remain high because people make a mistake try and integrate back into society and be productive and no one will give th a chance even after a whole decade of proof that you want to be moral still can't achieve gainful employment. Once an employer sees a criminal record their application goes on the trash. People can and go change and deserve an opportunity to be productive in America. It would benefit everyone. Less repeat offenders if they could get s job and make money to care for their family the old fashioned way instead of bring shunned to a life of destitute or crime.
