The standardized testing, also known now as STAAR (formerly TAKS) is making a real education seem out of reach. Our kids are memorizing instead of being taught how to problem solve, and figure out problems on their own. I blame this on our cultures' need to have everything in one click. We should be investing in our kids' education not creating shortcuts for an exemplary status or extra funding. Schools used to be a place for education. Now it seems more like a business. My kids are in the 3rd and 4th grade doing algebra and geometry!! I did this in highschool. They are too young, and there is too much preasure to pass this test. Even teachers are at risk of termination due to poor testing results. Other countries got their education system from the U.S. before all this standadrized mess, and now they are all ahead of the U.S. in education. Bring back the real education that gives our children the right tools, values, and morals for the future, not a shortcut version that creates standardized dummies.

My daughter is living in the night mare of home owners associations.When she fell into hard times they have tried to take her house which is paid in full.Now they are harresing her to put new fence, bare spot in lawn its winter hello , one thing after another. they were good at first but have abused their power.Now its more like living in a NAZI camp. Now we find out the home owner association has been taken for our bank security information. We are all in danger of identity theft. They didnt even tell us we found out from news broadcast. What a nightmare

They change their wages and give themselves pay raises. We never voted on them or set their wages. They sure love to set our wages so low we can't live on one paycheck. They need to cut wages by over 50 percent and learn to live like the rest of us! We pay our way in insurance, medical, prescriptions, gas, air plane fair etc. It is time for them to pay for what they want not off our backs! We have had more than enough of doing without while they live high off the hog!

If I don't do my job, I don't get paid, as I will be fired. Congress and their staff aren't doing their job, as they aren't creating and passing a real budget. Why don't we take away some of their pay until they do their job, and the money they lose will not be paid back to the represenatives or senators.
