Texas is not progressing as fast as it could. We are on the bottom rung of the ladder in areas that we could definitely be in the forefront. Like education & health-care,just to name a few.

If Senators and Congressmen/women had to pay for their own health insurance and had their incomes cut when they retire, they may not be so quick to try saving our economy on the backs of the elderly, poor and sick.

I have been effected as has everyone in the US. No amount of negotiating is going to get this accomplished.

American Servicing Company/AKA Wells Fargo doing people wrong and charging fees and no explanation and do not return phone calls nor do they give straight answers. Send threatening letters from their Attorney threatening to foreclose but yet they have no reason or explanations on their outragious fees they charge and where payments are applied. Just Google American Servicing Company and you will see for yourself stories from people struggling.

Gerrymandering or using a partisan process to design election districts is creating an ultra partisan government which hinders any progress on important issues. We urge you to develop and implement an impartial non-partisan process to help correct this issue. Let's get back to letting government work for the people!

If the capability is there, why can't you work from home...I have been working for a company for 15 years, drive 40mls one way but can work from home...when I started we were not this far out. Will come into the office when needed.

I am sick of the White House, Congress, Multi-Nationals and Banks, gaming the system. Obama wants to see millionaires and billionaires pay there fair share but focuses on $250K or more??? Jeff Imelt is "his" guy and yet GE, Verizon, Google, Intel, etc. pay no TAXES!! Get the heck off our, (employed citizens), backs and hit the BIG money. OFF SHORE REVENUE

One short week after the Sandy Hook tragedy, NRA leadership called for ‘guns in schools’ as the antidote to future incidents. We know this is not the answer—more guns means more shootings, more accidents, more tragedy. Putting loaded guns into the hands of school personnel is simply unacceptable. But eighteen states (including California, Connecticut and Hawaii) already permit teachers to carry guns. The details for these permissions vary, but the result is the same—children can end up in harms way. Currently, several other states have already proposed bills to arm our teachers. At the same time, teachers, administrators and parents are speaking out overwhelmingly against guns in civilian hands at school. This includes the teaching community of Sandy Hook. The NRA has really only one motive in wanting to arm our teachers and school staff—more guns sales, and hence more profits. We need national legislation so that these politicized dramas, and their potentially disastrous consequences, do not get played out one state at a time. Like regulations for our food and drugs, keeping guns out of schools is a matter of national health. Sixth Extinction Event we are well into now.

We have allowed other countries lower wages, a lack of workers safety and disregard for the environment to be our Achilles tendon for too long and it's time to real that in and balance the economics of all workers in the world for stability.

Too many Congressional people make a career out of being in Congress. I feel they make more than most in our nation, have better benefits, more vacation time than should be. They have it better than our service people. The longer they are in the more they can work the system. Terms limits would give others a voice to be heard, not the career politition.

My petition affected me personally and caused me to spin out of control as a child and ended up as a problomatic and complicated child. My face book friend Lisa Smith lost her daughter Felicia Ann Smith Dec-2-2010 to "SUICIDE", because of "BULLYING"!!!!!!!!!
