• Teach Democrats How to Argue
I haven't heard a Dem ask why we should trust people who want to save our children's future by cutting funding for their education, I haven't heard a Dem point out that most families use deficit spending to buy a house, a car, finance an education, or feed the kids when there's no money in the till. Why the silence?

  • Ohioans support giving all registered voters equal opportunity to exercise their right to vote.
For months, Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has personally acted to restrict early voting in counties with large Democratic populations—casting tie-breaking votes to limit voting to weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in urban areas like Franklin County, where in previous elections 82% of early voters did so on nights or weekends. Now, Secretary of State Husted said he is considering limiting early voting hours across the state in the run-up to the November election, and will "be listening to local boards of elections' concerns on this issue." We need to let local Boards of Elections across Ohio know that Ohioans support giving all registered voters equal opportunity to exercise their right to vote.

  • No New Poll Tax
Voter ID laws are a new form of Poll tax that requires eligible voters to in effect pay a fee to vote. Please think about this and if you agree pass this message along to your state and federal representatives.

  • Lake County Bd. of Elections: Support our Right to Vote
According to an article in the August 14 "Plain Dealer", Ohio's Sec. of State Husted is considering restricting voting hours all over our state to between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., exactly when most of us are working to earn a living. What is happening to our democratic way of life, for which thousands have given their lives, when public officials are actually trying to limit voting hours and therefore our voting rights?

  • Wells Fargo deceptive loan solutions
I am trying to get my loan adjusted with Wells Fargo, and I like millions of other folks we are outside the existing Bank Settlement agreement the government gave the 5 major banks. I would like to request a special review board to be assigned to our cases as the limit placed on the loan mortgage amount ($729,000) eligible for mandatory loan modification Settlements does not reflect the badly inflated pre 2005 housing costs in areas like Los Angeles and San Francisco. Millions of us have no rights nor hope of being assisted with our mortgages in an honest manner. It is not fair. Wells Fargo is being very deceptive in assisting me with my payment challenges, including refusing to disclose the penalties and court costs on my loan, only communicating by phone and lying about what I said in letters subsequently sent to me. All 5 banks (B of A, Wells Fargo, Citibank, Chase, Ally Financial) should to be held accountable to make reasonable loan adjustments for this group of mortgages. We desperately need protection rights and a watch dog group to help us.

  • Boycott WLMS so that we get edible food
West Laurens Middle School has lately changed it's menu into food that none of it's students like. It was intended to be healthier, but instead was even worse. One of these instances is the pizza is so greasy, it literally sunk through my fingers. And the pepperonis were undercooked. Second, they charge us students MORE for something we don't like. And it's also more for less food. They planned to cut down on carbs and proteins, and cutting down on carbs is ok. But the less protein you have, the less energy you have. I think they have made a mistake and I would like for them to change it, as I have personally witnessed the horror that they have presented us.

Antonio Goldmon, inmate L2050 in the Mississippi Department of Correction, did not have an attorney appointed to him by the courts in the United States Circuit Court, Greenville Division when he went before Magistrate David Sanders in May 2012. ACLU, attorneys would not take the case. Two private attorneys in Mississippi would not take the case. This young man was stabbed by 14 inmates when a CO named Ruthie Moore, open cell doors to top tier and allowed bottom tier out on this young man. The truth o the matter is that this young man did not have any severe scars on him when he entered into the MDOC in 2004. Antonio Goldmon, died from internal bleeding, and revived by medical professionals at Clarksdale Community in Clarksdale, MS.

  • A Middle Class Amendment
We can't take our middle class economy for granted. It will not somehow fix itself. In fact, it is more likely to continue to devolve into an economy that cannot grow or provide economic opportunity for most of us. Neither the “invisible hand” of the market, nor piece‐ meal legislative initiatives proposed by well‐meaning politicians, will get us where we need to be. We need something bigger, something more comprehensive, something more lasting. That “something” is an amendment to the United States Constitution to protect our middle class economy
