Cuyahoga County Board of ElectionsFor months, Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has personally acted to restrict early voting in counties with large Democratic populations—casting tie-breaking votes to limit voting to weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in urban areas like Franklin County,1 where in previous elections 82% of early voters did so on nights or weekends.2 Now, Secretary of State Husted said he is considering limiting early voting hours across the state in the run-up to the November election, and will "be listening to local boards of elections' concerns on this issue."3 1. Uniform Early Voting Hours in OhioEarly voting is being restricted in my county (Franklin) and many other counties around Ohio. In counties that vote for the GOP early voting is still being allowed. I want uniformity in the rules which allow early voting.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tonia Hazelwood

Aboblish Special Congressional Health CareCongress is allowed to create a special health care insurance program for itself that only they have access to. They should be forced to buy the same health care insurance available to the citizens whom they govern wtih no special provisions for them alone.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Steve Shanewise

Don't Restrict Early Voting HoursI'm concerned that early voting hours are being restricted to weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Many work during those hours, and choose to vote before or after work -- or even on weekends. Voting is a basic right in our country, and should not be restricted. I am petitioning the Board of Elections to make voting as accessible as possible.11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Kara Afrates

Programs for disabled adultsAfter many years of being on a wait list to participate in a program for disabled adults in Casselberry,FL my son is already 30 years old and out of the list because we had a family emergency and left the state for two years. I think our disabled citizens deserve more respect from our government which say there are no funds for more adult programs in Central Florida. I think it is not fair to our growing community of disabled adults in the state of Florida.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ana Mercado

PAY IT BACKThe surplus monies that workers and employers paid into the Social Security Trust Fund were borrowed and used by the government for other purposes. Now they want to revise and reduce Social Security benefits that we, the taxpayers, have already paid for. Before there are any plans to revamp the future of Social Security or modify benefits, the Federal government must first PAY BACK all of the surplus monies it borrowed from the Social Security Trust Fund.20 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Philip Ricaurte

No anti-trust exemption for medical insurance industry!Tha talk is all about lowering healthcare costs, but nobody is attacking the root cause. The medical insurance rates go up by double-digits every year, because there is no competition in the industry. The competing corporations (BC/BS, United Healthcare, etc...) can legally conspire to raise costs and divide up states like a pie. Currently, it's perfectly legal! Let's remove the anti-trust exemption and make them compete for our business just like the car companies or airlines. Remove the anti-trust exemption!2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paul Kalil

Get Corporate Money out of PoliticsThe Citizen's United ruling has turned our election system upside down. Now, a few multi-millionaires and corporate interests can determine the outcome of our elections. If we do not put a stop to this, our glorious experiment in democracy is dead.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Don Emery
