Petition For Library Fee Reform In The Delaware Library System“The United States forgave the British Troops for damaging 3,000 volumes of irreplaceable Government Property in 1815, when British Troops burned down the Capitol Building in Washington. Why should Library Patrons, which donate books and support causes, be fined a daily fee and the cost of book and a administrative fee when citizen fail to return a book, worth less the $1.00, a pardon system or a system in place where books can be renewed more the three times is needed, this situation feels like the Delaware Library System, has inflicted a genocide on it’s own patrons.” Library of Congress. Fascinating Facts. http://www.loc.gov/about/facts.html 1. All Libraries need to come with a way to collect Library fees, from books taken out by children, fees should not exceed the value of the books, returned late, as Libraries are a non profit. 2. A deactivated library card should be able to be reactivated, without any type of penalty placed on the individual, since this should cost nothing, the library should not make a profit and serve the community. If giving each child a separate library cards for each domicile is a problem, then at least come with a system for the children to use the library, while the issue that happened while traveling between the children joint custody life, should not ban them from the library, while in childhood, as it is common reaction for one or both parents to simple stop using the library, if to many debts come from books returned late or lost. 3. Lost books are charged a administration fee, in addition to the cost of the book, penalties where meant to redeem people, not for a non profit to make a profit and lose underage children’s business and adults, the bottom line stop parent from taking children to the library, books are left in schools, playgrounds and buses and become beyond the control of the parent in charge.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Daniel Vliet

Justice for DarrellDarrell's idenity was stolen by his brother and he committed six crimes in his name. We did everything we were told to do by the courts and six years later we are still getting the run around. We have lost our house, cars, and good credit because Darrell can't get a job, because of a criminal background that he didn't make.11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Althea Curry Joyce

General Assistance Budget CutsWe are faced with yet another crisis, General Assistance Budget Cut, that has been imposed upon disadvantaged and poorer members of society, with little warning. We can no longer stand idly by and let our legislators make budget cuts that will have long term negative effects on our society. For this cause, we are making a statement through this petition to our legislative leaders in the State House, Senate and Governor –Tom Corbitt).154 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Deacon Lamont E. Recall All Los Angeles County JudgesCandidates apply for elected positions get elected to these positions without any Democratic process (elections) or appointments by government, and to add more insult to injury these candidates are allowed to transfer to other elected offices in different jurisdictions without elections or following procedures and process. This FRAUD upon the voters and citizens of the State of California. Basically a candidate can obtain an elected offices in Long Beach and transfer to Inglewood without being re-elected or going through election process, however that candidates can defraud the voters and citizens of the State of California.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nathan Cooley

Made in America. NOT.Hundreds of Olympians from the United States will be competing in the Summer Olympics in London at the end of this month. These athletes represent values that make America great: hard work, determination, pride in our country and the things we can accomplish as a nation. Unfortunately, the U.S. Olympic Committee seems to have forgotten some of those values. Instead of making sure the uniforms Olympians will be wearing during the opening ceremony are made here in America, the U.S. Olympic Committee decided to outfit them in Ralph Lauren uniforms made in China. More than 2.8 million jobs have been shipped to China since 2001. We have lost 6 million manufacturing jobs in the past decade. The failed policies that have encouraged companies like Ralph Lauren to create jobs overseas, not in America, have hurt working families and our communities. A number of well-known American clothing companies—from Brooks Brothers to Jones New York—can easily manufacture new uniforms in America, right now, in time for the Olympic games. As Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recently said, “I think the Olympic committee should be ashamed of themselves. I think they should be embarrassed. I think they should take all the uniforms, put them in a big pile and burn them and start all over again.” If enough of us speak out, the U.S. Olympic committee will be forced start over and find a supplier to make our athletes' uniforms in America. But time’s running out.43,187 of 45,000 SignaturesCreated by Andy Richards
