• Free John Larsgard
John Larsgard, a Norwegian student, has been sentenced to 7 1/2 years in prison for attempted murder. So what did he do? He accidentally drove down a street going the wrong way during a street festival. They surrounded the car, beat him up and threatened him. He called the local police in desperation but instead of helping him, they arrested him and charged him with attempted murder with a deadly weapon - his rental car. He spent 7 months in solitary confinement awaiting trial and was convicted today of attempted murder with a sentence of 7 1/2 years! He was convicted in this small town where the "witnesses" all agreed in lock step that he was trying to kill them. Poor guy was in fear of his life and was trying to get away from an angry mob. Oh did I mention, his mom was in the car with him?

  • Advance to K-Associates
By 1900 educators argued that the post-literacy schooling of the masses at the secondary and higher levels, would improve citizenship, develop higher-order traits, and produce the managerial and professional leadership needed for rapid economic modernization. The commitment to expanded education set the U.S. apart from Europe for much of the 20th century. This phenomenon was uniquely American; no other nation attempted such widespread coverage. We are now in the new millennium and it is again time to advance education of the masses to higher levels. Americans need to be competitive in the global market place. High school students need an incentive to graduate. Immigrants need a reward for their sworn citizenship. The United States needs every resource developed to its fullest potential. We, as Americans, face a wide and varied set of problems in this day and age. We have proven in the past that we can do anything and we can fix anything. We can do this together. We have the knowledge and the tools to solve our current problems. This monetary investment, for a better tomorrow, will yield greater results than any wall street bailout, peace enforcement, or extended war. We need more citizens working on these national and global issues. It is time to hand out the essential tools needed for building a competitive nation. It is time to pass down the knowledge and sound inventiveness to the next generation. To ensure we are successful as a nation we need to do things the American way by investing in our children, our citizens, and our future. We need to Advance to K - Associates Degree . We need to demand it of our government.

  • Make 75% Pure Salvage Built Housing Tax Free
I want your help in building housing for the new society of 76,000,000 downsizing baby boomers out of 100% American grown trees, 100% American Mined ore, with hardware, doors, windows, and everything else made by our forefathers, salvaged from our treasure troves of natural resources, with the human energy of people doing the work who all happen to live in America. Let us abandon subsidizing the global corporations and foreign countries and let people build Tiny Houses from Salvage materials that should never be taxed for the rest of the time they are in service as a home rather than being in the landfill. Change the zoning laws to accomodate downsizing and sharing our ground with others who want to downsize instead of restricting land use through zoning that prohibits the movement toward saving our country and planet by reducing our carbon footprint, our taking from the planet.

  • No more Prisons for Profit
The privatization of prisons creates strong incentives to shape the justice system in ways that increase arrests, convictions, and sentences. We have seen ALEC engage in this type of activity and a judge in Arizona was convicted of taking bribes to alter the sentences he gave. Prisons should not be privatized.

  • Say NO to Geo-Engineering
We have a right to breathe clean air and we deserve to be told the truth. Sign this petition to make our Congress aware that WE fully acknowledge the aerosol/geo-engineering operations that are currently taking place over our heads on a daily basis. We have tested our rain, we have tested our air, and we are not happy with the levels of toxins being found.

  • FOX NEWS - Does Foreign Born Rupert Murdoch Have The Best Interest of the USA and her Citizens?
It seems clear that Fox News does not subscribe to TRUTH and INTEGRITY in reporting news. One University study says that watching no news is better than watching Fox News' "truth." I contend that Fox News is BAD for America and America's Future.

  • Prosecute Banking Execs and SEC/FTC for the financial theft perpetrated on America.
The Banking Industry meltdown and the international recession resulted from their fraudulent practices and the failure of government oversight. Those fraudulent practices have been well investigated and documented. Former high-ranking officials from every sector of the banking industry and the SEC and FTC have testified to or documented what happened and who is culpable. Still, little reform has been made in the banking industry to protect us from another financial catastrophe. And the perpetrators remain at large, spending our money while we lose our homes and our life savings. Congress did little but a slap on the hand to the banking giants for their crimes. Nor have SEC and FTC officials been held accountable for looking the other way as our investments were embezzled. We cannot let Congress ignore this huge elephant in the room. Our economy cannot remain in the hands of criminals. Let the White House and Congress know by May 1st that this injustice must be vindicated.
