Banks such as Chase Manhattan which took TARP money from the Federal Government should have to give equity back to individual and family homeowners. Bank of America is now trying to get home owners to become their renters when homes are under water. This is unjust! Joshua Colclough shot and killed 20 yr old Wendell Allen on March 8th, 2012. Wendell was unarmed and innocent. Wendell was a son, a grandson, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, and a friend to many. He was also a good basketball player. We're asking that all of you help support us and get JUSTICE for Wendell Allen.

The United States Forest Service has planned a massive logging operation located within the community of McKenzie Bridge, Oregon, along the banks of the McKenzie River. They kept this project secret for two years to avoid interference from the community. Despite the fact that the project is located within a major watershed, involves critical habitat and the destruction of old growth stands of douglas fir, there was no environmental impact statement submitted. The USFS/ USDA instead prepared a wholly biased environmental assessment, which states that there is habitat at stake, including the spotted owl, however it is unlikely to cause the extinction of any species. It is largely based on rule of thumb, generalizations and past experiences unrelated to this location. The USFS considers the project a done deal and is going ahead despite the objections of many in the community. The residents would like this project stopped until an independent environmental impact statement can be prepared and shared with the public, offering adequate protections to habitat, the community and the all important McKensie River basin (from which the city of Eugene draws it's drinking water). Reuben Lack, the 18yo student body president at Alpharetta High School, advocated for a resolution that would have made prom more inclusive to gay students. As a result of this, he was stripped of his position as student body president, and is currently being slandered by the administration as well as many other students. The reason I am starting this petition is to help put a stop to discrimation of those who have been previously convicted of a felony. I was convicted of a class 6 felony in 2008 and since 2009 when I was released I have not been able to find employement. People say that when a person does their time the sentence and punishment is served. Where is the justice for those that made mistakes and are still paying for them. For instance the coviction that I pled to was for attempted aggrivated domestic violence. And since the conviction I have applied to Lowe's Home Improvement on several occasions. All of which I have been told that I am not able to be hired due to my answers on my assessment. How is this possible when the majority of my working life has been in customer service with the highest remarks? It is because of my background and even though my civil right have been restored I am not given fair treatment and I wanted to start this because I am sure that there are others out there that are expierencing the same unfair treatment.

The Constitution may protect Mr. Limbaugh's right to free speech, but it doesn't guarantee him a radio show platform for his offensive, lewd nuggets of "common-sense". The mothers are usually left in deplorable conditions and the puppies often are subjected to living in crowded and unsanitary conditions, which makes prone to all kinds of illnesses. These dogs have also been found malnourished and dehydrated and left to die.

The trayvon martin shooting has created a massive problem for gun owners rights. Florida Governor Rick Scott has employed a task force to look into this excellent law. "Stand Your Ground" The law was passed overwhelmingly in 2005. It always law abiding citizens the ability to protect their life or families life without being prosecuted. It also prevents the bad guy to file a civil lawsuit against the good guy. This law is in grave jeopardy due to the unfortunate shooting of Travon Martin. One incident should not effect the rights of millions of Floridians plus millions of other Americans in a few dozen other States. Please sign this petition if you want to preserve gun laws in the USA.. The Castle Doctrine started in Florida in 2005 & spread to 26 other States. If Florida changes the Castle Doctrine, other States will follow.

Whenever an animal is abused, the violator gets their animal taken away, and only get a small fine or a few days in jail. However when someone abuses a human, they get thousands of dollars in fines or months to years in jail. If a K9 cop gets injured, that person gets the same punishment as if they hurt a cop. Animals are considered family, human, why cant a violator be punished just the same? We need to get the law changed and be able to get through to the people who abuse animals and show them that you cant just hurt an animal and get a slap on the wirst. Example: A lady was found guilty to having over 100 dogs in a bus with little food and no water, the dogs were about to die. She got sentenced with $200 and 2 and a half months in jail. however for someone who abuses a child, they get 15 years or even the death sentence in jail, and thats just for 1st time offenders. BE THE VOICE OF THE ANIMALS!! SAVE THEIR LIVES!!

Rush Limbaugh has recently shown with his sexist and horribly offensive attack on Sandra Fluke that he deserves no place on our airwaves. Take him off WISN. Rush Limbaugh's reprehensible, degrading attack on Sandra Fluke (whom he called a "slut" and "prostitute" and whom he asked to make a sex video) should be the end of his on-air career. He has gone too far, and he doesn't deserve our airwaves. Let's convince the station WISN to kick him off the air in Milwaukee, WI.
