• Congress: Pay for treatment of victims of mass shootings.
Since no entity is more responsible for these destroyed lives, it is only just that Congress bear the burden. It is my hope that if Congress had to pay the price for their actions (or inaction) it might strive to fulfill its obligation to the people.

  • Amazon needs a soul
I am tired of watching the bodies of children being laid to rest as a result of mass shootings, and the NRA's ferocious attack on anyone who stands up to say ENOUGH!! There are far too many people ignoring the fact that the 2nd amendment needs to be looked at, and there is a reason why the weapon of choice for these perpetrators, is called an ASSAULT RIFLE, not a Defensive weapon....they belong in the military, and NOT in the hands of civilians with evil intent.

  • Georgia Custodial Parents On A Mission
Due to the current Georgia law, which states that the case is to stay in the County/State of the Noncustodial Parent, which is difficult when they up and leave without notification. My 8-year-old son's father is still using my previous address, where he has been gone from the home for over 4 years. The noncustodial parent should NOT fall more than 30-45 days behind in payment. It's hard being a single parent and the noncustodial parent neglects the child/children as if their needs are not important. Being a single mother, all the responsibility and financial duties fall solely on me. Its hard to tell my 8-year old I don't have funds to pay for him to participate in a sport or can't take him to bowling or determining whether to be late paying a bill so that I can purchase clothes that fit. Custodial parents don't have a day off; I am always on the clock as a SINGLE PARENT 365 days a year, at PTA meetings, dentist/doctor appointments, working to provide for us, cooking dinner, helping with homework, giving birthday parties, consoling him when he cries for his noncustodial parent, making ends meet with the help of the Good Lord on my side and answering our prayers.

  • Remove Speaker Paul Ryan
Current Speaker (GOP Leader) Paul Ryan is making a blanket statement "GOP will not look at gun control rather will look for system control". His is saying that "We shouldn’t be banning guns for law-abiding citizens,". Ryan see the need of military grade riffle on every law-abiding citizen. That is ludicrous and unhuman. I think it is time to replace Paul Ryan from the GOP leader post.

  • Educators against guns
As an educator, I believe that there is no place for guns in our classrooms. I urge South Carolina legislators to keep our students and colleagues safe by opposing open carry laws and resisting calls to arm teachers.

  • No Traffic Light on Eaton Avenue
We are concerned with speed, safety and the negative traffic impacts that the proposed traffic light at Alameda and Eaton will have in our neighborhood. We fear that the drivers might catch a green light or may choose to speed up to make the yellow light. In both instances, we fear the safety of pedestrians and other drivers will be compromised because drivers aren’t forced to stop and lower their speeds throughout our residential zone. We worry about distracted drivers cruising through the green light, looking at their phones, skipping through a red light and more. At least with the stop sign, each car MUST stop, bringing their overall speed down when traveling by our homes. We are concerned that the overall traffic study by which this project was determined looks to satisfy the needs of those who might travel THROUGH this area and really gives no advantage or benefit to those who purchased HOMES in this area and LIVE here every day. The stop sign works just fine and there is no need to intervene and change something that works during off-peak hours. There is a slight slowdown during the morning and evening commutes for those heading to Clifford ELementary or I-280 via Edgewood Road. But we live in the Bay Area and know that traffic is prevalent.

  • Repeal NRA Laws Pushed by the American Legislative Exchange Council
The NRA has been using the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) to do its bidding with legislators dating back to 1995. ALEC was behind several bills that were conceived in conjunction with ALEC’s corporate member, the NRA, behind closed doors for the Public Safety and Elections Task Force. After 2012, in the wake of the Trayvon Martin tragedy and the spotlight on ALEC’s Stand Your Ground Policy, the task force was disbanded. However, ALEC has yet to do anything to repeal or rollback any of the dangerous gun legislation that they pushed on behalf of the NRA for years. • No Tolerance For Bully On Live Me
I think we have all seen the effects of bullying of a person either in day to day life or on the app. Some people can brush off the harsh words, but some people are really effected by the words that are said to them. Please sign this petition if you want to see a zero tolerance policy placed on liveme so that the accounts that are doing the bullying are banned from having their account. The people that come into a broadcast to tell people they are ugly, stupid, etc needs to stop. As well as in family chats and DM messages. Although you can block people, you can't always stop them before the words are said. Bullying can mentally harm a person and cause them to cause harm.
