For too long Spotify has limited us premium paying customers to listening to only 3,333 songs offline. If we are paying them for the premium subscription to listen to songs offline they should not be limiting us to how many songs we can listen to offline. Us premium subscribers have complained far too long to deaf ears at Spotify and its time to stand and take action against Spotify and tell them we want our voices heard and we deserve better.

This Constitutional Amendment shall, by its adoption, repeal all laws which provide healthcare and retirement benefits specific to all members of the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives and their staff. This Amendment shall also bar all future self-dealing of special benefits prescribed by new laws for the benefit of members of the U.S. Congress, their families and their staff.

With Republicans controlling the Presidency and both houses of Congress, reform proposals must be bipartisan to have any hope of success in Washington. Progressive Democrats may not have many Republican allies on some domestic issues, but for cutting the bloated Pentagon-industrial complex, we have potential Republican allies in the House Liberty Caucus. Of 40 Republicans who voted to stop the transfer of cluster bombs to Saudi Arabia, over half were members of the House Liberty Caucus. [1] President Trump has called out Lockheed-Martin's F-35 warplane as a huge rip-off of our tax dollars. But jawboning Lockheed-Martin down on a warplane that doesn't work and we don't need anyway would only result in a slightly smaller ripoff. Congress should protect our tax dollars by shutting down the F-35 taxpayer ripoff immediately. The F-35 may never be ready for combat [2], and Pentagon brass are lying when they say there is no alternative. [3,4,5] The Congressional Budget Office says one modest proposal for killing the F-35 - buying different planes, but not fewer planes - would save taxpayers more than $20 billion over a decade. [6] Proposals to shut down the Energy Department's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, which would likely harm renewable energy systems in rural areas, would save $2 billion a year - roughly the same amount. Instead of doing his job as Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Rep. Jason Chaffetz is trying to stop the executive branch’s chief ethics watchdog from doing his. We deserve elected officials who operate only in the public interest -- not their own. Donald Trump's plan to maintain ownership of his businesses, but turn control over to his sons, will do nothing to solve his conflicts of interest that could allow him to use the Presidency for personal financial gain. That's why Office of Government Ethics director Walter Shaub Jr. called Trump's plan out as "wholly inadequate" this week -- and why Democratic and Republican ethics experts agree. Rep. Chaffetz leads the committee responsible for investigating ethical problems by the President, and should be as concerned as Shaub is. Instead, he’s attacking Shaub, threatening to subpoena him and making ominous reminders that lawmakers have the power to shut his office down. As House Oversight Chairman, Chaffetz has a duty to hold elected officials to the highest possible ethical standards. Instead, he's using his power to bully those who seek to hold Donald Trump accountable. Add your name and demand that Jason Chaffetz stop threatening ethics watchdogs, and use the House Oversight Committee to investigate Donald Trump’s financial holdings, root out any potential conflicts of interest, and hold him accountable.

“The only one that cares about my tax returns are the reporters,” Trump said at a press conference this week. “I won.” When pressed further, he said, “I don’t think they care at all. I think you [the press] care.” Of course Donald Trump is wrong, and plenty of polls show that high percentages of both Democrats and Republicans want to see his tax returns. But polls are conducted with selected samples of the population. Let's demonstrate with signatures the sheer number of people who want to see Donald Trump's tax returns.

In his first news conference since July, President-elect Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he will turn his business over to his sons Donald Jr. and Eric, who double as some of Trump’s closest political advisors.[1] Walter Shaub, the Director of the Office of Government Ethics, called the move “meaningless.” He added, “We can’t risk the perception that government leaders would use their official positions for professional profit.” [2] A quick look at Trump and his billionaire Cabinet picks confirms that we’re headed in that direction. All signs suggest that Trump is ready to hijack our government to enrich himself, his Cabinet, and other members of the financial elite. I believe that our government should work to improve the lives of everyday people, not serve as a tool for the rich and powerful.
