Plastic wraps and containers leach harmful and unproven chemicals into food, beverages, and cosmetics. Current research is uncovering dangerous genetic and health effects from such chemicals No plastic that emits chemicals should be allowed to contact products that go into or on our bodies.

The people are being exploited by drug makers, drug marketers, drug sellers, the CDC, and law enforcement. Things need to change, and the power must shift away from these bullying tactics that are being employed. Corporate profits are draining our communities of stability, and any hopes of longevity.

Most medicine on the market is found though basic research and then developed to a certain level with part or all of public, tax payer funding in colleges and universities. Currently, when the final product is released no percent of the profit comes back to the people of the US that funded the research. Let's get a percent of the profit returned to the People.

Practical solutions for solving medicare insolvency. People should sign it to help preserve medicare for generations to come. My ideas come from my personal history of being a retired registered nurse and a clear understanding of patient care. I have sent my ideas to Senator Patty Murray on 2 different occasions, and received a form letter back each time. I don't think she ever read it. I want our politicians to stop bickering and solve our countries problems.

This is a call to Florida Governor Rick Scott and Florida's State Legislature to propose legislation calling for Medicaid monies to follow the patients and NOT the patients following the monies,often times institutionalizing American Citizens to Long term nursing facilities and Assisted living facilities which is a clear violation of the American Disabilities Act.We would ask for monies to follow the patient allowing for home care in the community in a non institutionalized setting and programs to assist with the transition(Emergency rental assistance with Security deposits for Housing,Disabled rental assitance,Utility deposits and payments).Florida Needs to take care of its most vounerable citizens.

When I retired in 2008, I was not told that the Medicare Prescription Plan was mandatory and I would be assessed penalties for not signing up. I was not on any medication at that time and saw no need to pay premiums to the insurance companies that I did not need. When I signed up with Medco in 2012, I was assessed a penalty for the period between 2008 and 2012. I feel this is very unfair. Especially since the amount they pay for prescriptions does not decrease my cost. By the way, I was paying 100% for any prescriptions I needed in that 4 year period. On a fixed income, it is very difficult to pay for all of these insurance premium and still have to pay the same amount for my prescriptions that I was paying before I signed on to the prescription paln.
