I've talked to a surprising amount of CSUS students who are in the same boat as me this semester and this petition is our chance to do something about it. It's imperative that we enroll in SWRK 125A this semester, but the class is sadly full. - Don’t want to wait another semester or year for classes you need? - Don’t have money for an extra year at CSUS because you can’t get the classes you want? - Do you want to enroll in SWRK 125A for the Fall 2014 Semester? In February, the Los Angeles City Council voted historically in 10-0 vote to draft new rules to stop fracking and toxic drilling techniques in Los Angeles - BUT now we need to officially adopt the law! Fracking and other extreme oil-production methods in Los Angeles and Orange County use dangerous chemicals, including known carcinogens and toxins that are linked to birth defects, developmental problems in children, and can cause harm to the heart, liver, brain, immune, and respiratory systems. Governor Brown has failed to protect Californians. Last year he signed a bad bill into law that will green-light more fracking in our state and could allow oil and gas companies to bypass basic environmental review. Since Governor Brown has failed to act, cities like Los Angeles are stepping up to protect residents. Across the city, we are already seeing health impacts, property damage and dangerous blowouts. L.A. residents are in the line of fire when it comes to fracking and the hazardous activities related to it and the oil industry is working to bring a massive opposition to the next fracking vote. Your Councilmembers need to hear from you now. Sign the petition to tell L.A. City Councilmembers and Mayor Garcetti to support the motion to pass a moratorium on fracking in L.A.

Since 2006, required (Chiropractic) CE hours have doubled, yet permitted Online (home study) CE hours have not increased - despite continued improvement in the quality of online education and many other states (and professions) often allowing most if not all, CEs to be completed through this medium. Allowing at LEAST 50% of TN Chiropractic CEs to be undertaken this way would help TN Chiropractors stay current in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

A small group of Tea Partiers are petitioning the California State Legislature to form the State of Jefferson. This effort would result in the poorest state in the Union, financially bankrupt as soon as it became a state. There are no provisions for schools, colleges, roads, law enforcement or fire protection. We can ill afford to remain silent and let a small radical group represent us without saying "NO"!

Members of my family travel for business and pleasure. Would our representatives like to prevent themselves as well as their family members dying from carbon monoxide poison?

While I could not personally have an abortion, it is not my place or anyone else's place to tell women how to conduct their lives. It makes me angry that this issue comes up with every election.

We need a concerted effort to stop this assault on reproductive rights and women's rights.

My 15 yr old daughter was hit by a car walking to PMHS August 29, 2014. She has always had a bus until the budget cuts made for the 2012-2013 school year. The walk is 1.3 miles, 100% commercial and during the morning commute. The buses need to be returned before someone's child is killed.

Before my 3 year old daughter was taken away from me 100%, I offered shared custody with no support to the father. I offered because it was the right thing to do, two created the child. That was not good enough for the father and the court. Still today I constant and continuously contend with deep rooted judicial corruption, abuse, misuse and lack of use of family laws. Incompetence and lack of accountability in family court and my local Massachusetts government continues to rule the day. My senator, state rep, congressman, attorney general and governor and it's agencies and commissions all say they have no power to intervene. Yet, they ask for our votes and promise accountability and change. Family Court needs a "head", judicial and political accountability . I am calling for a probate and family court reform and personnel cleanse. I am calling for tenure limits on Judges positions. I am calling on change for how long in time a Judge should be allowed to take in order to bring balance in each case. I am calling on the distinction from family court and criminal court - today they look alike. Parents and family come to family court and many walk out a criminal of this court. There is no way I could sum up 7 years and counting and no accountability or intervention. Mothers, fathers, children, all need your help creating a positive change.

My family business is in jeopardy because large corporations have out-ruled the mom and pop businesses in the nation.

This addiction is a rapidly growing epidemic, often leading to death, so immediate action is necessary. A family member was prescribed Oxycodone for pain after surgery and took it unaware of the addictive nature. He is now addicted and unable to stop .
