The LA Times, NYTimes, NPR and other media report that 158 women have undergone sterilization in California prisons without the required approval of the state medical committee between 2005 and 2010. The sterilizations were not medically necessary and the victims report that they were coerced into the procedure. We demand answers -- the idea of forced sterilizations bring up the worst of eugenics and of 1939 Germany, not 2013 California. Who was responsible for these sterilizations? Why were they performed when not medically necessary? Why was one of the women's ovaries removed when she specifically told her doctor she intended to have children in the future? Involuntarily removing a woman’s ovaries or pressuring her into a sterilization while incarcerated is absolutely unacceptable. Demand Gov. Brown immediately launch an investigation to determine who is responsible and to ensure this never happens again.

He shot (wounded) his assailant, and a bullet hit the assailant's car. As a result, Dejoie was sentenced to 20 years in state prison, while his attacker went free! What!? In January, President Obama declared that all Americans deserve a living wage. Now, he has the opportunity to quickly and easily make that happen for 2,000,000 Americans by issuing an executive order requiring all federal contractors to comply with the Service Contract Act. Government contractors employ more workers without a living wage than McDonald's and Walmart COMBINED. President Obama can change that with a stroke of his pen.

My son Alphonza C. Bryant III also know as BeeJay to close friends & family was shot & killed by two gang members. Beejay was not the intended target infact he was an innocent bystander an honor roll student set for h.s. graduation & college. Medical Marijuana has beed illegal in Va for years. I have a sleeping and eating disorder that causes me to be up for hours and days at a time, and make it harD for me to get an appetite.
