Without them our school will not be able to function and the students will not receive the necessary information they need in terms of planning their future, personal issues, and college information. Most colleges require students to send a recommendation from a counselor and getting a new counselor for the 2012-2013 school year will greatly affect the student's college process.

In New Orleans, the multiple Pulitzer winning newsroom saw 84 people fired yesterday, 49% of the staff. Despite promising more quality reporting after transitioning to primarily digital publishing, Newhouse family leadership is ignoring the significant digital divide which exists in New Orleans, as well as the simple truth that you can only do less reporting with fewer reporters.

With all the talk of voter registration and ID requirements across the country, a lot of Indiana voters may be confused about what the voting rules are—or might even think they're disqualified when they're not. We need to ensure that voters know all of the new rules and whether or not they are eligible to vote. According to research studies and legislative laws, an individual who injures and/or kills another individual with an automobile or any other vehicle can only recieve a maximum of a four year sentence. The current laws pertaining to hit and run drivers should be enhanced to prison time vs. probation. Any individual who leaves the scene of a hit and run accident involving another human person, whether driver is under the influence or not, should recieve an enhanced sentence.
