• Stop the Oklahoma Personhood Act
Oklahoma is about to pass the Personhood Act, which gives embryos constitutional rights at the moment of conception. This bill would also outlaw abortions, even if its medically necessary to save the mother's life and if the woman was raped and a child was conceived because of the rape.

  • Tell the state leadership of Tennessee to tackle real issues!
Our state legislature needs to stop pushing a "moral" agenda and focus on real issues. Women's rights need to be protected. Abortion is not a real issue nor is contraception. Likewise, protecting bullies in our schools and allowing gays, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered students to be bullied on religious grounds is wrong. There should be no excuse for bullying anyone based on anything. Moreover, the "don't say gay" bill is nothing more than a distraction. Teachers never taught homosexuality in our schools. Every single bill our state makes, costs taxpayers thousands of dollars each. This is a waste of our tax dollars. The same money could've been used to attract new business to our state. However, these hateful bills drive away potential new business' that may have once considered to relocate to our state.

  • Reform Sex Offender Laws
Currently in Missouri and across the country, sex offenders are put on a Public Registry for Life that allows anybody to see where they live, work, their car information, etc. Sex Offenders live in fear that their neighbor, employer or anyone else can target them, even when they have served their time and paid for their crime. Their basic civil rights are being abused and they daily face "unusual and cruel punishment" from these laws currently on the books. HB1700 is currently in the MO House of Representatives for a vote soon. It is a law to change who is on the Registry and for how long. The worst and most violent criminals will remain for the longest time. A board consisting of qualified professionals will conduct risk assessments to determine which of the Tier Levels a sex offender is placed on and that will determine how long one is on the Registry.

  • Against Democratic Women Seeking a State ban on Vasectomies
This petition is directly against the Anti-Vasectomy Act and its author - Rep. Yasmine Neal - House District 75. She states that just like women, men should not be able to voluntarily have a vasectomy, to use as birthcontrol - and just like women - if they are allowed to, it is only for just cause to save a life.

  • Reconstruct The IDOC
Revamping how the Illinois Department of Corrections spends our tax dollars. There is a lot of frivolous spending in all departments going on. School teachers gt paid not to come to work and everything is monopolized and the IDOC receives a kickback.

  • Please Support Delaware's HB 126
It's time that the University of Delaware and the Delaware State University provide more transparency on how they operate. The days of avoiding Freedom of Information Act requests by making decisions that affect the public in standing committees should end.

  • Support Iowa Companion Animals through SSB3159
This bill is HUGE in eliminating puppy mills and their aftermath. Once a USDA breeder in the state of Iowa either gives up or loses their license, they currently have no obligation to do anything for or with their remaining animals. County law enforcement currently has little ability to enforce any processes that would prevent neglect due to concerns about costs to the county. This bill would remove cost as a factor in law enforcement involvement, requiring any state or USDA licensed commercial breeder to file evidence of financial responsibility in the form of a surety bond or irrevocable letter of credit issued by a financial institution. These funds would be used to cover the costs associated with the rescue of the animals, should that become necessary. The same rights were given to agriculture animals through SF478 in the Iowa Senate just last year.

  • Wake County is NOT for Amendment One
I, a citizen of Wake County, oppose Amendment One- the constitutional amendment to ban gay and lesbian couples from ever gaining marriage equality. It would harm hundreds of thousands of children, families, unmarried couples, and seniors.

  • Stop Virginia from Invading Women's Bodies
Virginia is voting this week on a bill that would required that any woman seeking a procedural or chemical abortion, even those who are pregnant due to rape or incest, go through a transvaginal ultrasound. This procedure would require that a device is inserted into the woman's vagina. I am saddened to hear that the state's legislature is voting on a bill that would violate women in this way.
