Water for Flint, MichiganI have not been personally affected as much as others, but I see the need, not just in Flint , but also other places where the State has neglected needed infrastructure. They are waiting for someone else to do something. It’s ironic that Michigan ‘s slogan is “Pure Michigan,” but pure water is not accessible everywhere.42 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Peggy Sattler

Parental RightsThis is a petition to bring Families back together again, Hear say should not be allowed to hold up in court, nor should just allegations alone. Parent's, Grandparent's, ect... Should not have to beg for visitation rights with their own family, That is Mental Anguish on the child and Abuse! Parent's need more free range on the upbringing of their children as religions vary in many degree's and area's. Parent's should be allowed to record their own children's precious memories even if it is a phone call, it's still a memory. Vision, and Mission statements all say keeping families together how is that when so many have been allegated and broken apart! Human Rights are being violated, Where is the Peace that is supposed to be the benefit of living as a American. We need to make sure that Due Process is done on every case not just certain ones. A Parent should not have to sign medication for their children if they can not even speak to them. Parent's need space back to be Parent's, after all these children are our future leaders and if they get brought up in corruption that will tell you where this country will be full of in 10 years when these 7 and 8 year olds start becoming independent, they will do as they were taught. Let's secure them a brighter future by bringing back family morals and religious belief's.102 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Amanda Huff

Fairness for Condo OwnersCondo owners in Newburyport are under attack. The city is considering charging or eliminating curbside trash pickups for some or all 2,000+ condos in Newburyport. We use the same streets, schools, libraries and other city services. We pay the same property taxes as others. Condo owners should not be treated differently from single-family or rental properties. If there is an increase in a new trash hauling contract, everyone should pay equally for that city service.174 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Walt Thompson

Tell Pam Bondi to Support Restoration of Voting RightsFloridians who have served their prison sentence and completed the terms of their probation should not be forever barred from participating in our democracy again. This is not a partisan issue, but a matter of right and wrong. It is time we allow those who have done everything the court required of them to vote and participate in our democracy.150 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Ryan Torrens

Tell City of Dripping Springs to say NO to the proposed Rutherford Ranch North developmentRutherford Ranch North is a massive proposed housing development located in northeastern Hays County within the ecologically sensitive Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone and Dripping Springs ETJ. The proposed development would transform 781 Acres of beautiful, oak-filled hill country ranching land into yet another residential community, containing approximately 1,252 homes. Rutherford Ranch North would increase runoff, affecting local and regional groundwater quality, by transporting residential pollutants straight into the Edwards aquifer through Little Bear Creek and local geologic recharge features, like Dahlstrom Cave. Dye tests prove that water entering Dahlstrom Cave is in local wells within ten hours and Barton Springs shortly after. This increased runoff would also infringe on the private property rights of nearby landowners who depend on the aquifer for drinking water and who live in fear of local flooding. Rutherford Ranch North would be located next to an area recognized as a Floodplain by FEMA. Nearby landowners have spent countless hours and large sums of money to combat flooding and would be forced to devote even more of their limited time and resources to protect and maintain their property. In addition to polluting the aquifer, Rutherford Ranch North would Increase traffic on already congested roads. The area contains a rock quarry and there are plans for a park, a large high school, and several other housing developments in addition to a future toll road - SH-45SW. The Rutherford Ranch North development would only add to the increased traffic caused by these projects. Please sign this petition today and tell Dripping Springs that Rutherford Ranch North would be a disaster for the aquifer, local landowners, and the region.430 of 500 SignaturesCreated by mark strauss

Potholes in PhiladelphiaI'm starting this petition because, I have seen children tripping and falling over potholes. I have also seen, motor vehicles almost get into accidents with each other just trying to avoid these holes. We have wheel chair operators and other disability residents that is having problems due to the extreme deep holes in this city, especially the urban areas!! Even our crossing guards are having a hard time controlling traffic as they protect children crossing between potholes and traffic that is trying to avoid holes. Someone needs to help us NOW because Later has already past. Help is needed starting with with the OGONTZ Sts. in Philadelphia. When these holes fill up with water or snow, No one can no longer see them & the danger starts all over again. We would like to see our tax dollars play apart in our safety with safe roads without HOLES. It's time for our political leaders to make this request become a reality. Thank you.12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tonette Edwards

Grandparents Raising GrandchildrenThere are over 2.5 million grandparents raising their grandchildren due to substance abuse, death, mental health issues, or abuse/neglect. There are over 1 million children nationally who have their grandparents as their sole caregivers. Many of these children have physical and/or emotional needs due to the treatment they received before living with their grandparents. These grandparents save the government over $6 billion each year by supporting the children and keeping them out of foster care while over 21% of these grandparents live below the poverty line. These grandparents NEED resources and financial assistance to care for their grandchildren while dealing with age-related issues such as health, living on a fixed income, and raising at-risk grandchildren.15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by M artina Sternberg

Minnesota: More Expansive Background ChecksI want to feel safe in school, and I can't do that while people are able to buy weapons of war. Universal background checks are a start to ensuring youth safety in our state.48 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Izzy
